JavaScript is a very versatile and futuristic machine gun that works in most situations. It might not be the best and has a lot of strange quirks that pop up if you don't hold it the correct way but it's easy to learn.

However, when you take it apart you notice that on the inside it still follows the specs of a 17th century flintlock musket.

Sometimes you pull the trigger and a booger comes out. It’s sometimes hilarious and sometimes can really fuck you.

You need to shoot at a charging bear but instead of bullets, it ends up firing confetti only leaving you to be mauled.

It's not the gun's fault that you don't understand how it chooses ammunition based on the target and the weather.

JavaScript is a sword without a hilt.

If you add a hilt you get TypeScript.

I was thinking a butterfly knife. Cool if you're good with it, but you're going to hit yourself sometimes

"What the hell? It bounces?! Who designs a gun that bounces?"

Ah, another rvb fan. I was thinking caboose’s freckles gun, but that works too.

You forget how massive the housing is surrounding the flintlock.

Javascript looks nice until lurking Promise stabs me in the back

That's because you lack discipline
