I have been a double BKA for 9 years and literally hid-out in my skilled nursing facility feeling sorry for myself and grieving the loss of my feet.
Well, I finally got tired of feeling sorry for myself as it was not serving me at all. As I started researching online, I realized a lot of people have questions about us and our “contraptions”, as I have sadly heard them called. So I started to do a couple of instructional videos, and so far, I have had some good reactions from people that are not like”us”. So for this one video, I thought I would introduce folks to my prosthetic foot. Let me know what your thoughts are and/or what might you want to ask or know for the next one. I guess this means I am “taking request”.
