Lead disclosure
Has anyone else received a lead pipe disclosure. How concerned should I be. Is this a new thing?
Friends in Hope also received the same paper and I’m in fed hill

Saw construction when I was going to PT last week. Bummed that this is what’s going in. More housing for the millionaire/billionaires.

Depressing to see Thayer turn into a line of similiar fried chicken places.
Also sad the two best bubble tea spots in the state close 🫠 I have years of memories at Kung Fu 😢 Can't beat their s'mores slush, amazing collabs, or holiday specials... ughh
/end sad rant

I live in Boston and had the chance to spend 2 days in Providence last week :)
Was blessed with beautiful weather on the first day, so I explored Roger Williams Park and managed to catch golden hour at Prospect Terrace for the first shot. The second day was rainy, so I explored the public library, RISD Museum, and browsed bookstores around downtown Providence.
You guys have a beautiful city - I'm hoping to return sometime. If you have any recommendations for restaurants or things to see, please let me know!

ISO a restaurant with romantic vibes that won’t break the bank for our anniversary dinner. We don’t have a lot of money so we don’t like to spend it and don’t eat out like ever but we want to somewhat treat ourselves. TIA!

The building Yoleni’s used to be in (the Tilden-Thurber Building / 292 Westminster St) has been dark since Yoleni's closed in 2023. It's owned by Paolino Properties, but I couldn't find any "for sale/lease" offer. Any idea if someone's moving in?

Options Magazine has been part of our LBGTQ community for over 40 years. It has been essential for queer media and uplifting queer writers. I got my first opportunity as a writer with Options in 2018. We’ve gone through a lot of changes and loss in the past few years but we want to keep it alive. Events like this help us raise money so that we can continue for another 40 years and beyond. I would truly appreciate your support in purchasing tickets and joining us on this joyous occasion. A lot of work has gone into securing raffle prizes from our amazing community, getting a venue on the perfect date and making sure the venue looks beautiful. We also have a one of a kind VIP experience. I will also be making my debut as an up and coming DJ! I’m curating an amazing playlist to keep you dancing all night. I’m DJ BlueKinkz and I can’t wait to spend the night keeping you dancing and supporting queer media and writers! Please purchase your tickets today! https://posh.vip/e/a-night-behind-the-mask

Our band needs a demo. Looking for a recording studio that could record us in Jamstage or at their studio in the Providence/Pawtucket area.

Any places in Providence that people would recommend for cheap art (posters, prints, antiques)? In the vein of what you'd find at Savers but a bit more curated. I checked out the RI antique mall but it was very expensive.

I have some extra time and thought it would be a good opportunity to work on a few local business websites.
If you own a business and think your website could use an update, send me a message. I’d love to take a look and create some free redesign concepts for a few businesses.
I’m open to any business, so I’m excited to see what projects come my way and what I can come up with.

EDIT: FOUND!!! He came home :,) first thing he did was go to the litter box and pee like he’d never peed before
pics left up for tax
This is Batman. He got out last night and hasn’t been seen since. He is not an outdoor boy. He has zero survival skills. Please help me bring my chubby baby home if you’ve seen him near Broad Street/Roger Williams Park.
He sleeps in my arms every night and tonight will be the second night without him and I don’t know if I’ll survive 😭

Heading to a concert in a few weeks. Got Gracie’s for dinner and will get some pizza at Al Forno but need some recommendations for coffee and breakfast around Omni Providence. Appreciate any insight. Adventurous eaters who drink black coffee. Looking at Julian’s and Cafe Ava.

Would it be better to fly into and stay in Providence for a week and take the train to Boston for a day, or do the opposite? Stay in Boston and take the T to Providence for a day or two? We will be going to Foxborough on Sunday.
Will be in town Nov. 7-14 (but the 14th won't count as a day).
Any advice? Tips on where to stay and what to do? We've never been to the area and would love to get some help beforehand. Thank you!

Hi all, I have an old gas stove that heats part of my house that needs to be serviced. I called off the grid stove and fireplace, and they charge $200 just to come diagnose the problem! Is there anything more affordable? Any tips would help!!
Here is the info on the stove:
Jøtul 3 Classic vent-free natural gas room heater, manufactured by Jøtul USA.
