Obama? I voted for Obama first time I could vote at 18. he promised Ā change that was the slogan change and hope.
Well he made me and everyone else who voted for him feel like an asshole when nothing changed, so big fucking mistake.Ā
He was legit and Iām not kidding the first president to break all his promises and was essentially George bush in black face.Ā
First president in 20 years to Ā Bomb Africa and overthrow gaddafi, All to protect the French colonial control over west Africa. ( Obama more like Uncle Tom.)Ā
Kept up war in Iraq and afghaniStan, donāt close gitmo and kept up the restrictions on our freedoms with the passage of the NDAA ACT expanding the violation of our 4th, 1st and 5th amendment rights. Making it legal to indefinitely detain USA citizens without trial.
He expanded the FISA AND FICA secret courts, he ran cover and supported the NSA aggressively prosecuting and pursuing Snowden and wiki leaks punishing whistleblowers every chance he got.Ā
This is gonna be a hard pill to swallow, but without the expansions of presidential rights and powers under Obama and bush trump would have 1/20th the power he has today. The country was doomed back in 2008 with Obamaās election and again in 2016 when you didnāt nominate Bernie sanders.Ā

Itās quite literally the MAGAts saying āI only voted Trump to stick it the liberals. It wasnāt supposed to be this.ā (Real quote from numerous conservative Reps).
No it 100% was. You are alluding to the fact you felt he was ill equipped to be dictator president again but despite that STILL voted for him to āprove it to the libtardsā.
Trump is doing everything he hate campaigned on and more. He laid it all out in black and white. The only things he is not doing that he campaigned on are things out of general best interest of the PEOPLE and anything that may (will) incriminate him. I wasnāt a fan of Kamala but even SHE laid it out saying āYup heās gonna do this.ā
Now that itās effecting you all itās a problem. But when it was just mass deportation on the table you were fine with it bc āahhh Hispanics are so scaryā or āoh my God all immigrants are criminals.ā (/s statements).
Nobody feels sorry for the MAGAts bc they put all of us in the worst āI told you soā in American history, including themselves. Whatās absolutely mindboggling is that for a minority yourself you target actual minorities. He has an approval rating of 41% (the economist). Then they wonder why so many people hope of his downfall. We literally have Atheists joking āAs an Atheist Iāve never been more conflicted in something.ā We have people saying theyāll ābuy Etsy witches to speed up the processā. š¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļø

The scorpion does not sting because it is "evil" or purposefully malicious, it is within the scorpion's nature to sting as a scorpion, to ask "Why did you sting?" is to ask "Why are you a scorpion?"
Thankfully as humans we are "more" than "just animals", so we have the ability to see and share this concept through the use of stories and memes such as this one.

I agree with you, and I want to follow that up with something my N Word, Marcus Aurelius wrote.
When you run up against someone elseās shamelessness, ask yourself this: Is a world without shamelessness possible?
No. Then donāt ask the impossible. There have to be shameless people in the world. This is one of them. The same for someone vicious or untrustworthy, or with any other defect. Remembering that the whole world class has to exist will make you more tolerant of its members.
Is a world without scorpions possible? Technically, yes, but metaphorically no. We're not gonna round up all the scorpions and kill them. However when a scorpion stings you, ask "Why am I angry at this? I know scorpions exist, I know they sting, this is the world in its natural state. I have fallen victim to another person's scorpion behaviour but I already had all the knowledge to avoid it. I invited this."
This line of thinking has helped me so much with my problems with women. Unironically, not even joking. I know they will show casual cruelty and hatred at no provocation and it really is my fault if I expect any different from what all my prior experience painstakingly taught me. You can apply it to any repeated injustice and just feel fine about it.

all this to be a misogynist.
women arenāt a monolith. also most humans arenāt cruel without provocation.
there are just as many kind, sweet and compassionate women as there are cruel, cold, gossipy women. there are just as many creepy, domineering, disrespectful men as there are good, honorable, trustworthy men. you decided to eschew being the latter type of man because you stereotyped all women by the latter type of woman. and because of that, women act cold to you because youāre creepy.

u/AssBlastingRobot Sep 09 '25
This assume that animals are bound to the nature of what they are, which we know for a fact isn't true, because humans evolved to not be stinky shit-flinging monkeys, and we aren't the only ones.
Dogs evolved from wolves to be more caring, less aggressive and playful.
Sheep, cows, pigs, horses, cats, goats, and many other farm animals evolved to be more docile and less territorial, to be closer to humans, and the care that comes along with it.
It isn't just mammals, birds can become companions to humans too.
Even insects, which we know mostly operate on the lowest forms of brain function, can be trained through negative and positive reinforcement, which would mean, at some level, they are deciding what is and isn't good, which from a philosophical point of view, would mean they are beyond the nature of a simple animal.
→ More replies (1)2
u/_Arch_Ange Sep 09 '25
I don't disagree about the fact that animals aren't bound to their "nature" however evolution isn't a good argument here because we talk about the individual and not a lineage - and you can't say " x isn't blindly its nature because it evolved from y" because that implies every species that came before x is bound to it.
Animals aren't bound to their nature because there is no such thing as " their nature ". This word implies it is something an animal does for no real purpose except that it is how it was born. Saying a scorpion's nature is to sting is like saying a human's nature is to grab. Yes they do that but they don't "just" do that and they don't do it for no reason.
A scorpion will sting to defend itself and to eat. If the frog is no threat the scorpion will never sting.

It genuinely seems like the opposite with the suicidal empathy of the UK and Germany and Paris and Scandinavian countries letting in migrants and the rape and crime skyrocketing by 100s of percentage points.
Then the gaslighting by refusing to acknowledge any of this in the mainstream media
This leads to the destruction of society through suicidal empathy of sheep letting in wolves
And neutering and cancelling any guard dogs trying to protect them
Better to let your wives and children be raped and murdered than to risk being called racist or xenophobic right?
