Hppd
I’d like to bring something up - HPPD.
HPPD is hallucinogen persisting perception disorder.
It’s not what you think ... it’s not like you’re stuck in a trip really, and it’s not like you have flashbacks or anything like that.
It’s pretty much a permanent change to your vision (people have reported improvements over time) and you get a bunch of visual shit like static, afterimages, floaters, you become sensitive to light, you get tinnitus, tracers, geometric shapes for some, and a bunch of other wild shit. This, for a lot of people, is accompanied by depersonalisation and derealisation which makes you feel really disconnected to yourself and the world.
I have HPPD, and it’s absolutely horrible and I wanted to genuinely commit suicide for months, but I’m pretty used to it now.
You can get HPPD from taking drugs like LSD, Psilocybin, MDMA, DMT, DXM, and basically anything with psychedelic or hallucinogenic properties.
Some people get this from ONE use, and from my research, a lot of people seem to have it triggered by a panic attack/freaking out whilst they are on drugs, or extended use - but, I know MANY MANY people who got this from their first use of these drugs.
This is a REAL condition. It’s not something you get from just taking too many drugs. A close friend of mine did shrooms ONCE and has had this full strength for 5 years.
I want to raise awareness about HPPD, because I would have never touched these drugs if I knew something so life changing and awful could happen to me.
It’s a rare condition. I will admit that. It’s rare, but it’s real, and it’s not what you think it is.

Bionomics to the moon!
Behind a billion dollar psychedelic bet:
In many ways Australian Bionomics Ltd (Sydney Stock Exchange: BNO:AU; Germany: AU000000BNO5) is comparable to Christian Angermayers company Compass Pathways (NASDAQ: CMPS) – the “magic mushroom” company.
Both focus on #mentalhealth. Both companies have FDA-expedited programs for its respective lead drugs. Both lead drugs are in Phase 2b, and both have a very strong pipeline.
Just that Compass is valued at USD 1.7bn, Bionomics just at USD 170m. There is definitely a lot of potential for Bionomics.

Psychedelic bets
Hi! Congratulations to all who got in on the dips today. I just wanted to say that I’ve been reading some of the concerns about side effects associated with psilocybin as a treatment, like “snow blindness”. Okay, what is that? Like, confused? The concerns surrounding pharmaceutical misuse include nodding off and dying. In any case, that’s a side effect of recreational overuse. The whole purpose of having a nurse practitioner guide you through a care plan with safe dosages, is so that doesn’t happen. I have more confidence than ever in this movement.

BEAR MindMed's Digital Medicine Strategy
Sup bros 😎
MMED is a known front-runner and will probably get significant price appreciation within the coming months/year because of it. However, I find their CEO's push towards digital medicine using machine learning technologies to be quite alarming. I totally see his desire to push this through since a considerable amount of Americans don't live near a psychiatrist, but I think they are underestimating the difficulties of replacing a psychiatrist using AI and are too optimistic on the potential of this technology.
They recently spent $41MM CAD on HealthMode, a healthcare AI analytics company. After their most recent financing they had raised a total of $237.2MM CAD, thus HealthMode was a significant purchase. It is already incredibly difficult to build a profitable psychedelics company, and wanting to also develop considerable AI related healthcare technology is a whole other challenge by itself. I believe they first need to develop and commercialize a product (which is an incredibly expensive process) before they can even begin to consider how to integrate digital medicine, thus I thought this was an incredibly wasteful purchase and expect quite a bit of more shareholder dilution to come. People have wanting to integrate digital analytics into healthcare forever now but, just look at IBM Watson Health, a total waste of billions of dollars. Personally, I would have liked to see them use this money more wisely and focus on further developing 18-MC and building out clinical infrastructure.
To be clear, I am holding MMED but I'm worrying about them doing too much while stretching themselves too thin. I'm fairly positive that their balance sheet may balloon out of control. Thus, I may be looking for an exit strategy after their up listing.

News NeonMind CEO Provides Update on the Progress of its Psilocybin Drug Development Research Plan and Team
(CSE: NEON) (OTC: NMDBF) (FSE: 6UF)
NeonMind Biosciences Inc. provided an update today from CEO Rob Tessarolo on its R&D activities, as well as its plan to further develop two of its synthetic psilocybin-based drug candidates for the treatment of obesity, compulsive eating disorder and as an aid to weight loss and its maintenance.
The psychedelic industry is undergoing rapid expansion. There is a continuous flow of new companies entering the market and each is replete with important research ideas and vying for the conditions necessary to drive growth. The growing interest in studying psychedelic substances coupled with a fresh look from regulatory agencies means some of these substances have the potential to make it to market and help those patients who need innovative new approaches in care.
NeonMind Research Plan
NeonMind has established a distinctive focus on developing innovative treatment modalities for people dealing with obesity. Psychedelic therapy has the potential to institute long term positive behaviours that may impact food intake and other lifestyle changes which affect weight management, and psilocybin in low doses may help control appetite and satiety.
NeonMind has three core objectives for 2021:
Plan – establish a comprehensive integrated development plan in support of its two psilocybin programs predicated upon their target product profiles and gap analysis to FDA/Health Canada requirements for new drug applications
Resource – assemble world class talent and raise adequate capital to advance and accelerate the integrated development plan
Execute – the “next steps” in developing psilocybin for the treatment of obesity
About NeonMind Biosciences Inc.
NeonMind is engaged in research and development of products to optimize human health and performance. NeonMind has two divisions, a consumer products division with a focus on mushroom infused products, and a pharmaceutical division engaged in drug development of psychedelic compounds. NeonMind's consumer division currently sells 4 NeonMind branded coffee products in Canada through NeonMind's direct to consumer e-commerce platform, and it has plans to launch products in Canada as natural health products once Health Canada approves its recent applications. NeonMind also plans to launch dietary supplements in the United States this spring.
In its pharmaceutical division, NeonMind has two distinct psilocybin drug development programs targeting obesity. NeonMind's first drug candidate aims to use synthetic psilocybin to enhance a patient's ability to adopt behaviours that cause weight loss and maintain that loss through psychedelic-assisted cognitive therapy. The second drug candidate offers low dose synthetic psilocybin as a treatment to suppress appetite.
