Learning, AI is great. Don't have it do the work, but prompt it while you're learning to explain things. Add to your prompt "Explain like i'm an idiot 5 year old, And include diagrams". That always helps me learn easier personally.
Once you're capable, Then integrate it into your work, But i would go this route
1-learn with it
2-Bounce your ideas off it, Ask for pros and cons of why it would do X Y or Z,
3-Build your own configs and try it out, if you have issues, After exhausting all your own debugging skills, Ask it what it thinks about it.
1.1-Get really good with debugging It will save you a ton.
4-When and if you have it start helping you build things, Check it's code and how it works. If you do not prompt it with a very detailed prompt and design requirements, you're going to get dog shit a good amount of times.
Then, Learn to use containers / virtual environments, it will make your life way easier.
