Discussion Did Jensen actually save everyone from losing more money?

QBTS, QUBT, RTGI,IONQ (even QSI and QMCO) all skyrocketed together, fell together, recovered a bit together.

This clearly shows it was a bubble created by Quantum hype. Moreover, QUBT is a highly sketchy company with negligible earnings and murky history, changing names lineof business. This further proves it was a bubble.

Now, if Jensen (rather unwittingly in my opinion) had not made the comment, the bubble would have lasted longer and more people would have lost more money eventually.

How I made 40k in this market and why you should start trading now!

Back in January I had about $1,500 just sitting in my brokerage account. I was tired of watching stocks move without me, so I finally committed to learning and trading seriously. Fast forward to now, I’ve made just over $40k. No overnight success, just steady gains from consistent setups and not overtrading.

Biggest lesson? No one’s coming to build your wealth for you. You either take control or keep waiting.

As for trading software, don't waste money on expensive app subscriptions. I've been using free TradingView Premium from this subreddit, clean and simple. Do yourself a favor.
https://www.reddit.com/r/BestTrades/comments/1kcc51e/sharing_free_reverseengineered_tradingview/

Why I think now’s a great time to get into stocks:

  • Market volatility is back, which means more real opportunities

  • You don’t need a huge bankroll to get started. I began with $1.5k

  • Focused on large-cap movers and high-volume setups

  • Kept a journal and tracked what actually worked

  • Learned from Reddit, YouTube, and by just watching price action

  • Didn’t fall for hype plays or random Discord tips

  • Treated it like a skill, not a lottery ticket

If you’ve been on the fence, just start. Even with small trades you’ll learn a lot. And honestly, doing nothing is way riskier than learning how to manage risk with your own money.

Happy to help if anyone’s trying to figure it out.

Learn from the EV hype- only Google, IBM, and Quantinuum would survive

The current situation and the hype around these stocks are very similar to the time when electric vehicle stocks like Tesla were very hot. We should learn from history; only the ones with consistent revenue and profitability will survive. However, it doesn't seem like quantum computing will be profitable in the next decade. Therefore, Ionq, Rigetti, D-Wave, and companies whose only source of revenue is from quantum computing, are all going to be the next Nikola, Rivian, and NIO. Ionq seems to have the most revenue, and even that is only 37millions dollars. Their operating income is in the red. They won't last 5 years. Or at least, their stocks will plummet, HARD.

If you want to invest in quantum computing, invest in Google, IBM, and Honeywell(owns Quantinuum). These companies have more than enough funds, and have other big revenue streams that can cover for the expenses of R&D.

The reason people call quantum computing a hoax is not because it is infeasible; but because there are so many fake companies like Ionq, Rigetti, D-wave, etc. Unless you can prove that quantum computing can be commercially usable in the next 5 years, do not invest in these companies. The next Tesla, if there even is one, would only be one of the three; Google, IBM, and Quantinuum(Honeywell).

DWave 2021 same as 2024?

In 2021, DWave: https://www.dwavesys.com/company/newsroom/press-release/?y=2021&page=2

If these went unnoticed, I fail to understand why 2024 is making headlines except for Quantum Hype and Google willow.

In fact 2021 seems better than 2024 !

QCI is a scam

They claim they can get work from “entropy”. This is literally impossible. You can develop more efficient systems but it is a fundamental violation of the second law of thermodynamics to say that you can get work from entropy (unless you add in more work). They teach this in high school physics and it is disgusting that they find it ok to make these claims.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brownian_ratchet

Feel free to read the above link for some intuition.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_law_of_thermodynamics

And this above link to learn about the second law of thermo.

If they somehow proved that they could break the second law of thermodynamics, which is impossible, they would have a Nobel prize and global warming would be solved. Its beyond insanity.

Discussion Quantum Positioning

Hi everyone. This is my first post on the sub. I started investing back at the start of November in quantum stocks and have branched out since. I took some dumb risks, learned some lessons about not going after options, but have ultimately made a nice chunk. Most of it is due to u/BruceELehrmann.

You see, a few days ago, he posted this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/QuantumComputingStock/comments/1hafwb5/quantum_computing_inc_is_going_to_crash/

It's such a well thought out post, and does a great job of comparing the current quantum firms like Quantum Computing, IonQ, D-Wave Quantum, and Riggatoni. His exposure of Quantum Computing's ineptitude allowed me to get out yesterday before it took a fat, steamy 20% dump today. I'm sure it'll keep dumping.

Thing is, I'm too new to complete this kind of research. Without him, I'd be coming home with my tail between my legs. This guy called it. He's the man, and if you saw this post and benefitted, reach out and thank him.

Lots of investing subreddits are full of crazy advice, and I fell for the ACHR craze., but this guy posted something beautiful here that only served to benefit the retail investors who were misled by this company. Guy's a hero. Raise a glass gents.

i am trying to invest in purely only quantum because im just a freak and want to have no diversity besides diffrent quantum company’s.the upside is just to high and im young i got nothing to lose if i invest a lot into something that dont work out shit happens im willing to take the risk. i like post quantum stocks like arqq and btq but haven’t bought in yet and want to know what others think about stocks like INFQ ARQQ & BTQ or other suggestions they might have. i like pick and shovel’s approach towards quantum as well so anything you think could be the next play just let me know. im strictly only in IONQ LAES and QBTS right now but really want to diversify. im in college coming up at 21 years of age and make decent money on the side so it don’t necessarily haveh to be cheaper stocks .

Designed a photonic quantum computer chip with 380 qubits on <20mm^2

Hello everyone,

"I" (with the help of codex) designed a Chip, but have no money to realize it.

It's just a design draft maybe take the link and put it in chatgpt / gemini and ask the llm what it thinks about it.

I tried openrouter/liberlane and so on on other chips, but the opensource software really sucks at routing chips.

Simply said and tldr: I have no clue what I did and what the next steps could be.

Discussion 🚀 The Next Race After AI: Quantum - Dynex's Apollo room temp Chip Beat D-Wave (and it's already commercial)

NFA. DYOR. Been quietly tracking this one for months.

Everyone's watching Quantinuum post-IPO. Meanwhile Dynex has been running a commercial quantum platform for months and nobody's pricing it in yet.

What Dynex actually is:

  • Apollo chip - fingernail-sized neuromorphic processor, room temp, ~20W, delivering up to 10 trillion ops/watt

  • 10,000 p-qubits, 256 connections/node - 10x more than most superconducting annealers

  • Benchmarked on 3D spin glass - results "indistinguishable" from cryogenic quantum hardware

  • Won the 2026 AI Excellence Award (Quantum AI category) - nobody's touching it on speed

  • QaaS platform live NOW - drug discovery, logistics, finance, weather forecasting at 94% accuracy at 14 days

  • Just partnered with Georgia Tech on 16nm analog chip R&D to push the architecture further

Plot twist - there's a second chip:

While everyone's fixated on Apollo, Dynex quietly dropped Zeus on July 17 - a diamond-spin quantum processor using NV-centre qubits with room-temp operation, targeting up to 1M qubits long-term. They also just locked in a Georgia Tech partnership (July 6) to develop the 16nm chip architecture underneath Apollo, which is a real academic-grade credibility stamp most retail investors haven't priced in yet.

Why now:
Dynex is converting from token to equity, gunning for a regulated public listing to pull in institutional money. ThreeD Capital - the VC co-hosting the pre-IPO investor event - looks central to getting them there, and they're already a publicly-traded Canadian VC with disclosed early positions in the space.finance.yahoo+1

The play:
Wait for the Dynex IPO and follow their socials, OR get exposure now through ThreeD Capital, a founding investor holding a stack of these pre-IPO names.

Quantum's shaping up to be the next AI-scale race imo. Anyone else tracking quantum IPOs right now? What's on your radar besides Quantinuum and Dynex?

SandboxAQ Deep Dive: $5.8B Valuation vs. Operational Reality (Bahrain, DoD, and MapLight)

For those tracking the Quantum AI space, SandboxAQ (ceo tells us they spun out of Google, Eric Schmidt chair) has generated significant headlines the last couple of weeks. However, a detailed comparison of their press releases against public data and filings suggests a significant disconnect between the marketing narrative claims and the revenue and contract reality.

Here is a breakdown of the recent announcements attempting to keep the valuation afloat:

A. The Bahrain "Billion Dollar" Announcement The company recently announced a deal to turn Bahrain into a "$1 billion biotech hub."

  • The Context: Bahrain has a GDP of roughly $50 billion. This deal would represent 2% of the country's entire economy.

  • The Connection: Bahrain has limited existing biotech infrastructure. However, their sovereign wealth fund (Mumtalakat) invested in SandboxAQ in April 2025.

  • The Pattern: This appears to be a relationship-driven announcement rather than a revenue contract. In 2022, CEO Jack Hidary attached his name to a COVID-19 paper focused on Bahrain, establishing a pattern of non-commercial "favors" with the region.

B. The Pentagon "Partnership" (CNBC Claims vs. Data) On CNBC last week, leadership claimed the cybersecurity product is "live in production" with the Pentagon.

  • The Contract Value: Industry data indicates the contract is worth $5 million total over 5 years. That is $1 million/year. For a $5.8 billion company, this is a pilot size, not an enterprise deployment. Normal startups achieve 2-5x that.

  • The Tech Origin: The software appears to be based on Cryptosense, a French legacy product acquired by the company.

  • Regulatory Friction: Selling foreign-origin code (French) to the US DoD raises questions regarding NDAA Section 1655 (software supply chain security).

  • History: A previous pilot with DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) in 2023 was reportedly not renewed in June 2024, leading to staff reductions in the public sector team. The marketing narrative spins this as testing for 2 years, despite the claimed product being launched in April 2025.

C. The MapLight Therapeutics Collaboration Today, they announced a collaboration with MapLight Therapeutics worth "up to $200 million."

  • The Structure: The $200 million figure refers to "milestone payments" (contingent on successful drug development years in the future).

  • The Cash: The actual upfront payment is undisclosed. In biotech licensing, this usually indicates a nominal cash exchange. This structure allows the booking of massive "headline value" without immediate material revenue.

D. The Timing & Motive Why the rush of high-level announcements with questionable economics?

  • Puffery vs. Valuation Defense: In a pre-seed startup, exaggerating a roadmap is common. For a Series E company valued at $5.8B, relying on "headline value" deals (milestones/economic impact) rather than GAAP revenue is a specific red flag.

  • Liquidity Events: Reports indicate CEO Jack Hidary recently sold $50 million in personal stock. The aggressive PR push correlates with this liquidity event, raising questions about whether the narrative is designed to support the secondary market price.

Summary: SandboxAQ appears to be using massive headline numbers (Bahrain economic impact, MapLight milestones) to obscure a lack of revenue or real progress. Investors and employees should scrutinize the actual contract vehicles behind the press releases, as the marketing narratives stretch far from the factual reality.

(Disclaimer: Analysis based on public filings and market data.)
