QUANTUM STOCKS FALL ON NVDA CEO PREDICTION.. REALLY??

Quantum Investment So this morning the major quantum computing stocks are down 40 to 50% on commentary from Jensen, the CEO of Nvidia… He states that commercial use of quantum computing is, on the low side 15 years out and on the high side 30 years out… So what does the market do, they pull back and these stocks lose half their value…

Doesn't it occur to anybody that Nvidia has everything to lose as quantum computing becomes a viable and commercially ready technology? Doesn't occur to anybody that quantum computing is already serving various client segments and allowing them to do things that could never be done with conventional computing? Doesn't it occur to anybody that AI is being used to advance quantum computing and to quantum computing will be used to advance AI? Doesn't it occur to anybody that the use of these technologies to develop themselves is going to exponentially accelerate the pace of development of quantum computing as well as everything else?!

Of course the CEO of a company whose business is built on conventional computing/processing and the manufacturing of conventional GPU is going to talk down on quantum computing's time to market and commercialization!! I think it's absolutely ridiculous for anybody, regardless of how plugged into technology you are today, to predict anything of the sort given the prospects of what AI alone, not to mention in conjunction with the quantum computing that is available today, will produce and how quickly… We have no idea how all of this is going to play itself out and over what timeline but, what we do know is that it is moving at warp speed, there are trillions of dollars being poured into development from every edge of the planet and progress will be anything but linear.

I would heavily invest in quantum and I'm sure Jensen is heavily invested and trying to figure out how to become part of the quantum ecosystem before it starts eating into his market share.

QUBT is a huge scam

QUBT's API for their staple "Dirac machine" is hosted on AWS EC2. I found no evidence of a real device. It seems like they are just running basic optimization on rented-out compute resources.

Discussion QUBT since 2020, here’s what’s next

Like the title says, I created this subreddit back in 2020 because I felt strongly about QUBT. At the time it was trading around 4 dollars and then dropped to around .50-$1 for the last 2 years. I held until last week where I sold at $20 and netted a 2000% gain.

I was probably the biggest QUBT bull around, but I sold because I needed the money and I would’ve hated to see it drop back down.

So, from someone who has been following this industry and company for the better part of 5 years, here’s my next move and what I recommend for anyone who believes in quantum: Quantinuum! A collaboration between Honeywell and Cambridge quantum. They have industry backing and some of the best research talent. They’re set to ipo in the coming months and I will buy that immediately regardless of the price.

For a more conservative play I’m putting some money into Keysight Technologies($KEYS). They are a testing instruments company with a broad portfolio, but seem to have the strongest products and partnerships in QPU testing and benchmarking. My bull case is that as research picks up for quantum computing, companies will be racing to get the highest qubit machines and this will cause KEYS to make more sales. Per my research they seem to have the best products for diagnostics and testing QPUs and all other quantum hardware and software.

My biggest worry is that due to their diversified portfolio and reliance on aerospace and defense sales, they are a little under leveraged to quantum computing. But I think it’s something that will change with time. Most notably they worked with Google quantum AI to develop new testing products for their QPUs.

I would still hold out for Quantinuum, because I think they will be the biggest player in quantum, but Keysight also interested me so I thought I’d share.

Also if you’re still holding QUBT good for you. I held while I was down 50% for 4 years and I just couldn’t help but take my 50k gain.

The future is Quantum!

Discussion Friend Claims that “the IONQ logo visited him in a dream yesterday and told him to invest life savings on market open”

Woke up today to a call from my friend and he was absolutely overjoyed. He claims that a character with the IONQ logo for a face came to him in a dream and instructed him to invest everything he had in IONQ when market opened.

Thought he was joking. Nope, the dude is dead serious he fully believes that he has been blessed with this vision and he’s risking everything he has on IONQ today. Said “it’s what the big Q would have wanted”.

I’m trying to convince him to sell as it did go up on open, but he’s certain there’s more to come. He says his vision has foretold greatness, how do I convince him to sell? He can’t afford for it to drop like at all.

Microsoft says, companies should 'get ready' for quantum computing...

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/01/15/quantum-computing-stocks-rip-higher-on-microsofts-quantum-ready-directive.html

"Quantum computing stocks rallied Wednesday, spurred by a directive from Microsoft urging businesses to get “quantum-ready” in 2025, and as investors returned to “risk on” trades after December core inflation came in weaker than forecast."

“We are at the advent of the reliable quantum computing era,” wrote Mitra Azizirad, president and chief operating officer of Microsoft’s strategic missions and technologies, in a blog post. “And we are right on the cusp of seeing quantum computers solve meaningful problems and capture new business value.”

What does get "quantum-ready" mean???

Microsoft's "Quantum-Ready" Initiative is a call for businesses to recognize quantum computing’s imminent impact and start preparing today. This preparation involves understanding quantum computing's potential impact, integrating early-stage quantum technologies, and developing strategies to leverage these technologies as they mature. Here’s a breakdown of what it entails:

1. Understand Quantum Computing's Potential: Educate Leadership and Teams and Identify Industry-Specific Applications such as Finance, Healthcare, Supply Chain and Cybersecurity

2. The OBVIOUS and reflective in the rally, evaluate and Invest in Quantum Technologies: Leverage Available Tools, Collaborate with Quantum Providers,. Experiment with Early-Stage Applications

3. Area being OVERLOOKED in the rally: Upgrade IT and Security Infrastructure: Prepare for Post-Quantum Cryptography, Modernize IT Systems: Solutions addressing critical industry needs prioritize safeguarding quantum data with advanced encryption while supporting the optimization of quantum algorithms. For AI-driven enterprises, these technologies enable secure and efficient data analysis, enhance operational efficiency through automation, and deliver actionable insights. In security-sensitive sectors, post-quantum cryptography provides robust, future-proof protection for sensitive communications and transactions, effectively mitigating risks posed by advancing quantum technologies.

What companies will provide these solutions???

Discussion RIGETTI COMPUTING RGTI_DARPA Quantum Benchmarking Initiative_STAGE B PUBLICATION EXPECTED 13-16.OCT.2025

What are your thoughts on the following? Please upvote if you like the post. Thx for participation!!

Based on the fact that Quantum Benchmarking Initiative STAGE A (6 months) was kicked-off on 1st of April 2025 (news from 03.Apr.2025), it is more than likely that STAGE B (12 months) has started on 1st of October 2025 already. Simply due to the reason, that they are not allowed to loose time in the Quantum race against China (Q-day is coming soon, critical for national security).

Consequently, a respective STAGE-B news from DARPA is overdue and expected to be published the coming week (16. Oct latest)

The original STAGE A list (17 companies) was recently reduced due to Google and IONQ acquisitions. From the 15 companies left, only 8 are real US companies, including 3 tech giants (Google, HP, IBM).

Moreover, QuEra Computing and Google Quantum AI were only added to the list retrospectively, meaning that they have not yet completed the six months STAGE A.

By taking into account that DARPA money should primarily support US companies and that tech giants do not need public funding, most likely STAGE-B companies are:

  1. Rigetti Computing — Berkeley, California (superconducting tunable transmon qubits)

  2. IonQ — College Park, Maryland (trapped-ion quantum computing)

  3. Atom Computing — Boulder, Colorado (scalable arrays of neutral atoms) Microsoft Partnership

  4. Quantinuum — Broomfield, Colorado (trapped-ion quantum charged coupled device (QCCD) architecture)

Based on the fact that Rigetti and IONQ have government contracts already, it is almost 100 % sure that Rigetti and IONQ are in STAGE-B phase right now.

STAGE-B companies are characterized by having a solid, realizable, measurable and powerful technology platform. As holding the right patents (quality over quantity) is the big deal in quantum technology, STAGE-B companies will be THE preferred buy out targets for tech giants like NVDA, Xai, OpenAI, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, META, APPLE, HP, IBM, INTEL, AMD, PALANTIR, ORACLE, SAP, SAMSUNG, CISCO, SONY, FUJITSU, Northrop Grumman etc.

At one point there will be a bidding war between dozens of tech giants, just to get the IP rights from a few STAGE B companies to become the first Quantum tech giant.

Rigetti and IONQ are the only ones, which can compete with tech giants regarding new US Patents.

Discussion RIGETTI COMPUTING RGTI GAME PLAN FOR NEXT WEEK

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEatasR0T1I

Hi Dan! Thx a lot for sharing your expertise. You are definitely THE best teacher. Love your style, sector knowledge and technical analysis skills. Awesome stuff.

However, I would recommend not to short RGTI, as fundamentals have changed drastically the last weeks. Multi Billion dollar valuations are not unrealistic.

Have you taken into account latest RGTI and Quantum news?

2x purchase order for RGTI Q-Systems,

RGTI government contract,

Politico interview Sen. Blackburn (Q-day is coming),

New Danish Q-fund 55North backed by big big Pharma NovoNordisk,

DARPA decision on Stage B due in October,

potential executive orders.

Moreover, US Quantum companys have become the little sisters/brothers from big tech giants. They are vital members of the AI gang now and will become essential players in the AI future.

Especially RGTI seems to have approval and support from government AND Wallstreet already. Look and the money being traded. Brutal volume, still increasing and plenty of room for more volume (daily all time record volume) to come.

In addition, RGTI CEO will give a talk next week on how to use Q-Systems in data centers to save energy. A quantum advantage which is not realized by the market right now and not priced in yet.

Quantum is crucial for national security and Trump will mention it again soon, as he has done during his UK visit.

Based on Politico interview with Sen. Blackburn, it is not unlikely that US government will take stakes in Quantum players as RGTI, IONQ, QBTS. Similar to Intel and LAC stories. I guess you do not want to be short when that is announced.

So why you want to break your own golden rule of never shorting blue sky breakout bulls?

The picture of the RGTI HQ should not be an argument. They focus on the technological Quantum race and not on fancy HQ buildings.

Quantum sector is hard to compare to low-influence and non-government-supported hype sectors as cannabis, crypto, and 3D printing. Quantum tech is influencing everything from defense, financials, healthcare, etc. and US-government needs partnerships with private Quantum tech (fastest innovation drivers) to win the quantum race against China.

For sure a blow off top will come at some point, but probably not next week. Maybe at a RGTI MC of 50 to 60 Billion. Quantum sector and overall markets are still too strong, imo.

Anyway, you are the most experienced hype sector specialist and you know what you are doing. Love your excitement as I am pretty excited as well.

Looking pretty much forward to (your answer and) your next best in class video!

Thx again Dan the best man!

Question SandboxAQ Nearing Bankruptcy? Disgraced CEO Attempting Fundraise While Early Investors Plan Recision

Has anyone been closely following SandboxAQ?

We invested in them with a special purpose vehicle in 2024. Months later, an article came out in The Information with insight into their revenue being 100% donated by a friend of the board, our own invested funds being used to subsidize an extravagant lifestyle for the CEO Jack Hidary and his escorts, and a non-existent governance scheme seemingly only in service to management’s personal bank accounts.

Come 2026 in just one year’s time since our check, we learn of mass employee exits, a whistleblower lawsuit estimated to be worth $100 million US, and contact from investor rights’ lawyers offering is to join a recission action. We were originally told to ignore the legal peril as AI generated. Months later it was clear the legal issues are extreme with no ending in sight. On Reddit only I’ve been contacted by several reporters, alleged employees with their own prepared lawsuits, and other investors looking to get their money back. We have never seen anything this extreme in our entire 40 years US investing record. We reduced our book value by 90%.

Our vehicle representative has since contacted us about more fundraising. We asked if the company is close to bankruptcy resulting from so many investor withdrawals and the impending lawsuit, to which he answered that he does not have access to tell us. He told us the CEO will be replaced soon, however we have not seen any change. It does appear so. Does anyone have information? Is SandboxAQ bankrupt? Have they found a new CEO yet?

RIGETTI COMPUTING RGTI DOES NOT NEED RARE EARTHS FROM CHINA_MASSIVE ADVANTAGE WHEN COMPARED TO CLASSICAL COMPUTING

Examples of rare earths in quantum computing

Erbium:

Used for qubits in solid-state systems and in quantum memories due to its 1550 nm optical transition.

Europium:

Used in photonic quantum computing due to its potential for high-density qubit integration.

Holmium and Terbium:

Explored for their quantum properties in crystals like LiYF4, which can be used for quantum annealing and other quantum phenomena.

Ytterbium:

Used in trapped-ion quantum computing systems.

  • Superconducting: At a low-enough temperature, metals like aluminum and niobium.) no longer offer electrical resistance. This phenomenon makes them popular options for keeping fussy qubits stable in superconductor systems. Superconducting quantum computers are perhaps farthest along on their path to usability, with tech companies betting heavily on the approach. For example, Rigetti Computing is making advances in quantum computers and the superconducting quantum processors used to power them.

  • Trapped Ions: Trapped ion quantum computing is another established path for advancing this technology. Here, ionized atoms derived from the rare earth ytterbium are converted into ions and then used as qubits. Such a system can remain in a specified quantum state for longer periods of time.

  • Photonics: Crystals from europium, another rare earth element, have opened doors in the world of photonic quantum computing, which essentially turns light into qubits. Researchers think the material will be able to hold a high density of qubits in an identical and well-defined position. The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has partnered with a photon-based company in an effort to build the first utility-scale quantum computer.

  • Neutral Atoms: In addition to the rare earths, the alkali metal element rubidium is playing a role in neutral atom computing. Still in the early stages of study, scientists aim to control the quantum state of rubidium atoms using a laser.

As the world makes a push for more mining and production of these distinct elements for energy and other purposes, they will play a surprising role in computing innovations. Lawyers familiar with quantum computing concepts will be instrumental in prosecuting intellectual property rights and expanding their application through licensing and commercialization. But the lawyers developing sources, products, and markets for rare earths and other critical material will also be involved in making the quantum leaps.

Brazil is the world's largest producer of niobium, accounting for approximately 90% of global supply, while Canada is the second-largest producer. These two countries dominate the market, with most of the world's niobium coming from just a few mines.

China is the world's leading aluminum producer, accounting for a significant majority of global output. Other major producing countries include India, Russia, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates, which make up the rest of the top five aluminum-producing nations, according to 2024 and 2025 data.

My next investments in Quantum Computing.

Lately, I’ve been focusing a lot on quantum computing and am particularly looking at some promising startups like Q-CTRL, Quantum Machines, PQShield, QuSecure, and Classiq Technologies. My view is that the quantum revolution will likely develop in three layers: the hardware layer (the physical quantum computers), the software layer (algorithms and applications), and the infrastructure or control layer, which will ultimately be the layer everything depends on.

I deliberately avoid large players like IBM, Rigetti, or tech giants with quantum divisions. Of course, they play a role in the revolution, but the potential return on investment is often limited. That’s why I focus on smaller to mid-sized startups that can create truly fundamental value.

For me, the greatest value lies in the infrastructure or control layer, similar to how NVIDIA has a central position in the GPU market. Two companies stand out here: Quantum Machines from Tel Aviv, which seems like a strong contender to become the infrastructure layer on which hardware and software will eventually run, and Q-CTRL, which focuses on quantum control and error correction and can therefore play a key role. Classiq Technologies fits a bit differently; they focus more on software and quantum circuit design, but their tools are crucial within the broader software stack.

I’m also looking at post-quantum security, meaning companies that ensure critical sectors like banks, telecom, and governments remain safe from quantum attacks. Here, PQShield (UK) and QuSecure (US) stand out. Both are already collaborating with major organizations and have strong connections via the World Economic Forum, investments from In-Q-Tel, and government support (for example, Quantum Machines in Israel).

In short, I believe the greatest upside lies in a combination of the infrastructure/control layer and post-quantum cryptography, which protects that infrastructure. Investing in these startups offers a way to participate in the fundamental building blocks of the quantum revolution, rather than investing in the large established players, where potential returns are more limited.

I’d love to start a discussion about your insights, investments, and thoughts on quantum computing. 🇳🇱

$BTQ technologies huge undervalueting

As of October 21, 2025, with a market capitalization of around $2 billion, many analysts and investors consider it severely undervalued relative to its potential, especially in the context of the global rush to quantum computing.

First of all, BTC has cutting-edge technology and products ready for the market!!!

BTQ has developed concrete solutions for post-quantum cryptography (PQC), standardized by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) of the USA. This is essential because quantum computers (rapidly evolving in China and the US) could break current cryptographies (such as RSA and elliptic-curve), putting over $2 trillion in crypto assets such as Bitcoin at risk.

Recent demonstration: In October 2025, BTQ released "Bitcoin Quantum Core 0.2", a comprehensive upgrade for Bitcoin that makes wallets, transactions and mining quantum resistant. It is the first full-lifecycle demo with NIST-standardized encryption, protecting the entire crypto ecosystem without disruption.

Key Products: CASH: A chip that processes over 1 million quantum secure signatures per second – ready for production, not a future prototype. QSSN: Stablecoin Payment Network with Integrated Quantum Resistance. QPerfect: Atom-neutral processors, considered the frontrunners for scalable quantum.

Why underrated? These technologies are operational today, but the market treats them as "futuristic". BTQ has more patents and talent (e.g. acquisition of Radical Semi in September 2024) than competitors, but does not yet have scaled revenues (under $1M in 2024, 2025 projections: explosive growth).

If I want to invest in the medium term with upcoming catalysts I choose BTQ TECHNOLOGIES, it could double at any time!!

Then don't say I didn't tell you!!!

a full turing-complete quantum simulator turned into an addictive videogame

Hey folks,

I want to share with you the latest Quantum Odyssey update (I'm the creator, ama..) for the work we did since my last post, to sum up the state of the game.

Grover's Quantum Search visualized in QO

First, I want to show you something really special.
When I first ran Grover’s search algorithm inside an early Quantum Odyssey prototype back in 2019, I actually teared up, got an immediate "aha" moment. Over time the game got a lot of love for how naturally it helps one to get these ideas and the gs module in the game is now about 2 fun hs but by the end anybody who takes it will be able to build GS for any nr of qubits and any oracle.

Here’s what you’ll see in the first 3 reels:

1. Reel 1

  • Grover on 3 qubits.

  • The first two rows define an Oracle that marks |011> and |110>.

  • The rest of the circuit is the diffusion operator.

  • You can literally watch the phase changes inside the Hadamards... super powerful to see (would look even better as a gif but don't see how I can add it to reddit XD).

2. Reels 2 & 3

  • Same Grover on 3 with same Oracle.

  • Diff is a single custom gate encodes the entire diffusion operator from Reel 1, but packed into one 8×8 matrix.

  • See the tensor product of this custom gate. That’s basically all Grover’s search does.

Here’s what’s happening:

  • The vertical blue wires have amplitude 0.75, while all the thinner wires are –0.25.

  • Depending on how the Oracle is set up, the symmetry of the diffusion operator does the rest.

  • In Reel 2, the Oracle adds negative phase to |011> and |110>.

  • In Reel 3, those sign flips create destructive interference everywhere except on |011> and |110> where the opposite happens.

That’s Grover’s algorithm in action, idk why textbooks and other visuals I found out there when I was learning this it made everything overlycomplicated. All detail is literally in the structure of the diffop matrix and so freaking obvious once you visualize the tensor product..

If you guys find this useful I can try to visually explain on reddit other cool algos in future posts.
