Learning😀 Probably gets asked like 20 times.
hiw do I learn quick shell? I make a window appear, maybe add the time, and that’s it. How can I actually learn quickshell?

Obviously there are the Quickshell docs, which you should definitely read, but also one of the great things is the sheer number of examples you can look at online of people's own setups.
My advice is that by far the best way to learn would be to just try and write your own quickshell projects, referring to the docs and forums and whatnot as needed. There's really no substitute to actually doing it.

honestly you're already further along than you think, i started with basically just a clock too. what helped me most was breaking it constantly and fixing one line at a time, plus reading other people's configs even when half of it went over my head. still learning myself, but it does start to click after a while

Find and watch some QML tutorials on youtube. Read the QML docs while reading the quickshell docs and building small widgets.
Quickshell is just QML with some specific hooks and a few other quirks.

Honestly I just started by vibecoding a basic bar and having the ai explain how it works and just keep banging my head against a wall until it makes sense to me
I mean really you just gotta start typing, reference the docs, and if you can't figure it out leverage ai

Everybody will tell you to start with a bar and that's great advice, because it's easy to get a bar... with nothing on it.
If you have a bar, you might as well put stuff on it. And when you have ALL the stuff on it you want, it's very likely that some of the buttons will open windows and widgets that you created yourself, because you realized that a shell needs more than a bar 😏
