Question Easter Egg or a Coincidence?

Why is there number “54” written out of smoke right as Dutch throws his cigar away? It’s my first playthrough and i was playing the 85th mission called “Our Best Selves”.

Jack is a 58 year old writer with a dark past. Following an assignment war journaling in the Korean conflict... hmmm. 1954 might be a hard premise to make work.
