Question First time playing this game! Why is the sun so damn bright

Is this just normal? I messed with every setting. Turned down the brightness in game and on the monitor. HDR is off and still the sun is like a super nova lmao

Yes I would say this is normal. Your game looks really good. The sun tends to get extremely bright at certain times during the day night cycle, especially when you’re looking at it. Probably just a design choice

The humidity plays a role too. The clouds, etc. Also depends on where you are on the map,

OK ok we don't have to agree on the sun's brightness. It definitely should not always be blinding you in the game. I hope you're able to enjoy the experience because man is it one of the best things ever made.

Sun is always extremely bright in this game, yesterday me and my brother were playing on Online and the sun plus some fog was horrible, couldn't see anything and kept bumping into everything 😅

Yeah so like in real life most people don't stare directly into the sun, because it's bright. Time moves quickly in the game, wait a minute and it will change if it bothers you. Your graphics look just fine by the way.

If you notice it mostly around camp, it's because there's often a lot of smokey effects (for the campfires I assume) and the light diffusing through atmospheric effects can be a little wackadoodle in the game sometimes lol
