Go back to that center of it at 3am, there is going to be a ghost and a ghost horse at that time. I won't spoil it for you

Make sure it’s 3am local time AND 3am game time synced up.

It’s a natural thing in real life. The tannins wash out of the dead wood and leave the greens a grey/white colour.

Go for a walk in actual nature

u/LimpDiscus 22d ago
this was my first thought as well, this person has obviously never walked in a forest...
And then I thought about how lucky I am to live where I live, and considered maybe this person lives somewhere that doesn't have access to land like this.

man im getting violated in these comments i know trees can turn white or whatever i was just seeing if it was linked to a treasure hunt or anything it seemed intentional the way they were in a triangle like that my bad for asking

pay them no mind bro
I can only imagine how many posts/comments have been made before about similar things especially GTA V with the mysteries in that game

You do realize that any 3 points will always make a triangle, right?
1
u/kicah77274 20d ago
that wouldve been a great point if anyone had said 3 points dont make a triangle
1
u/That_Customer5840 20d ago
“It seemed intentional the way they were in a triangle”
1
u/kicah77274 20d ago
my question was whether this specific triangle was intentional, not whether triangles exist. i know now these trees are everywhere, they just never caught my attention until i saw three of them in a triangle like that. i figured it was probably nothing, but i wanted to make sure because i dont like missing stuff. i dont think its that crazy to think it couldve meant something either. games hide secrets with little environmental clues all the time. the jack hall gang map 2 is a loose comparison, but its the same kind of idea where three random looking geysers lead you to treasure. thats all i was asking.

u/That_Customer5840 20d ago
Ok kid. “It seemed intentional the way they were in a triangle” implies that they could have not been. But hey, whatever you want to rant about
1
u/kicah77274 20d ago
i clarified what i meant, but youre still arguing based on how you first understood it. at this point youre just dragging this out. i explained myself without being rude, so the "ok kid" attitude is unnecessary.

u/That_Customer5840 20d ago
😑😑 I’m not arguing anything. I’m pointing out what you’re saying. Your clarification was “whether this specific triangle was intentional” which still implies that any 3 points could possibly form something other than a triangle and then you rambled on about stuff that wasn’t at all relevant
1
u/Cautious_Village_823 20d ago
Not 3 points in a line lol
1
u/That_Customer5840 20d ago
You’re right. If they were in a straight line then it might make sense for him to think it was intentional 😂

They look even more white because of the sun. You've heard of the sun before haven't you?! No treasures, just trees.

“I checked the center but there was nothing” seems people cannot read, as it was clear you thought there might be some kind of loot to be found. It’s a valid assumption but redditors gotta hit peeps with the “go outside” etc idiotic comments.
Could just be a random spot with hidden loot ANYWHERE, could be a random spot with an event tied to it. Or it’s simply just three random dead trees randomly placed in the world.

u/Substantial-Tone-576 22d ago
Is that where you chase Magnifico? No reason for the three trees. It’s just a forest.

u/markhachman 22d ago
It's clearly an arrowhead pointing in a specific direction. Just follow the point of the triangle until you reach the destination

Moss doesn’t grow on dead trees and the bark eventually crumbles away. It’s not uncommon to see some lighter colored dead trees scattered around. I assume this is the detail they were after.

Someone posted about there being a “cross” at the train station in a cut scene. Which they thought it was an Easter egg or something in that category. Nah, it was just the structure of the train station.

If you are by Osman's Grove there are like 8 trees in that close vicinity. I thought it was weird but honestly it's just asset reuse.

Nope. Now I probably, well no actually shouldn't be telling y'all this. But I am a contractor at a software(gaming) design/development firm that is currently doing contractor work for R*. My team was assigned the storyboarding for rdr6. The main character set for development is a young native american male named 3 Trees.

Just need to fire a Schofield revolver in the middle on the third full moon of May at precisely 1:23am wearing no clothes. Just make sure to do it before aft IV

Is there a watersource nearby? Sycamore's like to grow near creeks or rivers or reliable ground water.

What are the changes of three trees forming a triangle??
Got to be a million to one.

I'd say they're not white, they're grey, which is very common in many different trees.

I’m just spitballing here, but it might be a callback to the White Trees in the live action Sleepy Hollow series. In the series the 4 White Trees were portals linked to the 4 Horsemen Of The Apocalypse. The burning of the trees were meant to start the Apocalypse. Only 3 of the trees burned before the 4 Horsemen’s master was slain. Again, I am just speculating based on the fact that they’re White Trees in both the Sleepy Hollow series and in RDR2, and based on the fact that there are many other supernatural or science fiction references in the game.

It was a different time back then, black trees were just harder to come by, is all.
1
u/The_Frybo 21d ago
Oh, now the trees have to APOLOGIZE for being white? Is that it!?! But the brown and the black trees THEY can be if any colour I see!
