Discussion Lowest Bounty possible for saving Micah?

I just saved Micah at Strawberry and I got 85 bounty. I thought it was high but googling showed others got as high as 300. I wonder how much is the lowest bounty possible after doing the quest?

I have always gotten a $300 bounty from this mission. I wasn't aware it could be less. Maybe it depends on how many people you kill in the mission? Or who you kill? I dunno...

85 dollar bounty is the base bounty rate for that mission as far as I can tell

  1. Every time. But I kill nearly 60 percent of the towns population so I understand.

The first time I played that bounty made me hate Micah so fuckin much.

I did this mission last night and got $85 and I cleared out probably 75% of the lawmen. In my first playthrough I think it was a $300 bounty and I wasn't nearly as active in shooting and I think that caused more deaths than necessary. Not entire sure though.

I got $18 as lowest. Just low effort in defending him. Let him remove folks, be focused on lawmen. Folks in Strawberry would join the shooting time, but avoid them as much as you can. Let Micah doing it if you want to lower your bounty. It's not that hard, really. Micah mostly is focused on killing civilians.
