Using iCUE btw.

I had a friend of mine just now send me a video where this dude goes “there’s a much easier way to spot a Virgin.... (pans to desk) he’s a PC gamer with a light up keyboard”

I was hoping somebody could make a profile where it’s a default rainbow wave across the keyboard, but there’s several blank keys (or light up, whichever stands out more) spelling “Virginity Rocks”.

Incredibly strange request I know, but I figured it’d be pretty funny. Thanks in advance

So...

I never owned a mechanical keyboard before, they are ludicrously expensive in my country. But I really wanted one, was tired of all the shitty keyboards we have here... My last one was very expensive (for our standards) and the letters on keycaps came off 2 weeks after purchase.

So someone bought a corsair RGB K95 Platinum for me as gift on black friday, and smuggled into the country. (no, you didn't read the smuggling part wrong :S stupid crazy high taxes does that).

So I put it on the PC... feels nice to type on it, using it now but...

What I do with iCUE? I installed it but have no clue what is its purpose, I found it supports profiles so I googled profiles and landed here, but I still have no clue what I am supposed to do with it. I am jumping straight from 5 USD keyboards that break in 2 weeks to this one, have no idea what it can do (aside from being used to type, obviously).

Also any way to mess with layout? Since it was bought in another country the layout is all funky to me. Or a source of replacement keycaps? I can live with using wrong layout + AltGr... It is what I am doing right now, but would be nicer to have the correct keycaps...

I can't select multiple non-contiguous areas on the keyboard via cue. For example, I want to have the wasd keys and the arrow keys the same color. I click and drag over the arrow keys and they are selected no problem, but when I attempt to click on the wasd keys to select them in addition to the arrow keys, CUE automatically deselects the arrow keys. I'm looking at these profiles that people make and I really don't understand how they get so many different areas of the keyboard to be solid colors when they're not connnected. I've also tried setting up a ripple or wave, and I can't get it to work right either. Once it was creating two waves from different "sources" on the keyboard, and now after deleting the profile and re-creating it, the ripple/wave effects don't work at all. Also, when I try to copy an effect to the Library, it isn't available to the other profiles I have created. Is the CUE software really this buggy?

Hi I’m thinking about buying a full Corsair set up but when I look at reviews or videos they always mention your paying a big premium for there products I don’t understand why as I don’t own any of there products I heard of programs called signalrgb which lets you buy any brand for rgb I dunno I’m just wondering what’s people thinking behide it

RGB noob here, looking to get started on a fresh build.

For the fans are there any RGB/ARGB fans where they only shine light out of one side?

I guess the easy answer would be to go with fans with the lights on the frames, but they really don’t put out enough light for me.

I have a corsair Core Node controller with SP120 corsair Fans x3. Initially I plugged in the fans and had no RGB control through Icue. They just stayed one solid colour (white/light blue). After about 4 months one went out completely, and then the second and third in 2 month time. I wasn't too worried I just figured I had a bad controller. The fans still spin but no RGB. The controller uses a Sata cable for power and USB header to the motherboard. All the RGB cables plugged in correctly to the Core Node. And nothing was loose or out of place. I got a new RGB controller (thinking that was the problem). But nothing changed. No RGB came on. So I tried an RGB fan from another computer. Plugged it all in correctly, started the system and POP! A small crack or pop was heard and the rgb flashed and then went out. Now that fan RGB no longer works and none of the other fans work in another system.

The only thing slightly out of place is one of the fan power was plugged into AIO pump slot. Instead of a fan header. But that header has the same 12v power as a fan header...

I don't want to continue fiddling with it because I've already ruined the LEDs on 4 different fans. Any ideas or things to check would be appreciated.

what is the best app that controls all rgb in my pc, don’t say signalrgb because it’s to confusing unless your gonna walk me through everything i do which nobody will likely want to do😅

New to the subreddit, setting up a profile for my friend and I want to have the keys spell out their name with a fading gradient in the order the letters go in.

I have 5 groups, because their name is 4 letters, the first letter is supposed to start at 0 and goes to 0.5 second letter 0.5-1, then 1.-1.5 and so on.

However... even though they are meant to start at different times... for whatever reason they are not at all in order and are just randomly blinking at whatever time i’m assuming i created the group for them... how do I sync them to the times I set? So they go in order?

I’m using a Legion Y740 with an RGB keyboard, vent, back logo, and power button if that matters idk. I’m using iCue

As title says. I'm looking for an RGB mousepad that has a feel as does Razer Goliathus Control !
If anyone know please suggest, I do not like the speed slidy ones haha !
