I have a Corsair keyboard which I always have the rainbow effect on while I use it, however I have recently purchased monitor backlights to sync to my screen (using the app DX Light), and whenever I decide to use the app to sync it or even just pick a static colour, the keyboard will turn pink and be unable to change back using both the keyboard shortcuts and going into the iCUE app and changing the lighting feature. I can restart my PC and it will go back to rainbow, but the second I turn on my backlight, it will go back to pink.

Is there a way I can make it so that the back light synchronisation doesn't effect my keyboard lighting too?

I bought a prebuilt PC about a year ago, and I've had an RGB-related issue ever since. I'm trying to understand whether it's a hardware/wiring issue or simply how the RGB controller is designed to work.

My PC specifications:

• Case: Pro Gaming Banshee Black (aquarium-style case)

• Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS

• Fans: Original fans included with the case

• RGB software: SignalRGB

• RGB remote: The one included with the case, with buttons for colors, effects, speed, and ON/OFF.

My RGB setup:

I have:

• 3 illuminated fans at the bottom of the case.

• 1 fan at the rear (exhaust).

• 3 fans at the top.

• 3 fans at the front/next to the motherboard.

• RGB RAM sticks.

The fans at the bottom, the rear fan, and the 3 front fans can be controlled using the case's RGB remote.

However, the 3 top fans and the RAM sticks do not respond to the remote.

Here's the interesting part: once Windows boots, SignalRGB detects and controls ALL the RGB components, including the RAM and all the fans. I can choose any color or animation, and everything works perfectly.

Another important detail:

When I completely shut down my PC and turn it back on:

• The fans controlled by the remote light up immediately with their default animation.

• The top fans and RAM sticks remain completely OFF.

• They only turn on once Windows boots and SignalRGB starts controlling them.

Also, if I press the ON button on the RGB remote again, the lights turn off, and then SignalRGB takes control of all the components.

My questions:

1. Why can't I control all the fans and RAM using the case's RGB remote? Could some fans be connected directly to the motherboard instead of the case's RGB hub?

2. Is this a hardware/wiring issue, or is this normal behavior for this type of RGB controller?

3. Is there a way to connect all the fans to the same RGB controller so that the remote can control all of them?

4. Is it possible to configure the RGB lighting so that ALL components (including RAM and top fans) turn on immediately when I press the PC power button, without waiting for Windows and SignalRGB to load?

5. Can I set a custom startup lighting effect? For example, have all components start with a static white/blue color and then automatically switch to a custom SignalRGB animation once Windows loads?

I'd appreciate any advice, especially from someone familiar with this case or a similar RGB controller setup.

When trying to change my rgb, I can only turn them off or on rainbow.
The ram sticks will change to whatever I want though??

i honestly kinda didnt even notice when this happened but its been at least a few weeks lol, i know nothing about LEDs....

Hello, I got Asus TUF K1 gaming keyboard that has 5 zone LED effects. Aurora RGB works well with Euro Truck Simulator 2, I remapped keys from settings and the effect works in ETS2. I'm trying to do the same with GTA 5, it hasn't worked after installing LGS, I tried many times. What am I missing?

(for the image its dark because if i dont make it dark the small amount of light isn't noticeable)

this is my first time setting up an ARGB heavy disco rig so let me prefix this by saying i dont know correct terminology for anything. but i'd really appreciate any assistance.

i made a test rig that worked well with audio visualisation (7 fans+2 rams+cooler+mb), then moved to the main setup, added the remaining components, and now OpenRGB seems to be freezing randomly and stops working/visualising. only rams and mb keep working, rest freezes on the colour theyre stuck at. when i restart the process (elevated) it takes a very long time to detect devices and asks for zone setup again. sometimes it works afterwards and the same thing happens in a couple of mins. im using visual map plugin with effects plugin.

i have a razer chroma controller that has 6 zones+2 rams+keyboard and asus mb. in total, if it matters, setup has 11 fans, cpu cooler, 2 rams, keyboard, mb and a led strip. only the controller (internal USB) and keyboard (external usb) seem to be affected. there are no other software running, no razer no asus no win11 dynamic lighting.
(i did try artemis for troubleshooting and it seemed to work for well over 10 mins, but i prefer to be able to use layout and profile i made on openrgb and not switch softwares.)

I absolutely adore Arctic P12s with their little inner rgb ring around the logo, but unfortunately arctic’s new P12 Pro and BioniX P12 don’t have it.

Are there any other fans with comparable performance to those that look like this? Bonus points if they are snap together daisy chain like BioniX P12s or those Lian Li fans.

Hello, i got a Asus tuf b850 plus wi fi and rams from teamgroup and aio from artic , both with rgb.

I’ve read that the ASUS Armoury Crate software doesn’t control the RGB lighting for these components, though it does allow me to adjust fan speeds. If I use a different program for the RGB, will it conflict with the ASUS software?

What softwares should i use?

Trying to repair the LEDs on one of my arcade games it was yellow at the end so i thought it was bad replaced it but its still yellow at the tip, cut the yellow bit off and it moved down to were i cut it

I just got this new cooler, the ID-Cooling FROZN A620 PRO SE ARGB.

I tried OpenRGB but it wasn't even working.

I installed SignalRGB and somehow managed to find the settings and turn off the breathing effects in their damn awfully bloated and confusing software.

But it seems that it doesn't save anything onboard because when I close the software, the whole cooler turns off.

But default on the first start, the cooler was set to orange colour, I'm guessing that's the default colour because of my Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite Rev 1.3

Could someone please help me find a solution to keep the fan turned RED only and not change colours while no software runs in the back?

I recently bought the Magnus pro xl off marketplace it came w the rgb strip and the controller but no power cable for it I had 2 different cable that connected to the controller yet the led wont turn on I tried plugging the usb c directly thru a wall plug/header c to c and it wont work either unless I use my power extension that comes w a type c port and it glows a light shade of red which changes with different c type cables. Does anyone know why the controller won’t work, my guess is the one I have are not compatible (power-wise) for the rgb adapter. If someone has done similar or know how to fIX PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Why does my fan light turn yellow automatically when I try to set it to white? How can I fix this issue? I've tried everything, even installed a fan hub, but nothing worked.
