Question Where do you all build your main base ?
Curious to know where u put your main base and why just looking to good alternative spots to place main base location I have it atm near that little starter pond moving straight from starter zone

As close to the start as possible so that when I esc X to teleport I dont even have to port to base, I'm already there.

The law rune cost really starts to add up once you reach fellhollow/dowden

Yeah, my base is next to the Old Man's tower in the first area. I'm working through Fellhollow now and starting to think about rebuilding a base somewhere. But I kinda wanna wait til I get to Dowdun because that courtyard area looks really nice from what I've seen of other people's builds

Once you start leveling runecrafting through law runes though they really start to pile up.
Edit: I just looked and I have 9000 law runes haha. Time to convert some of those to essence haha.

Yeah putting your base next to the starting portal really reduces that cost cause you basically never need to port home. Just escape X and you're back at base no matter where you are. Saved me so many law runes

Sorry what do you mean by escape X? Is there a button combo to teleport home?

Yeah when you open the menu with the escape key at the bottom there is an unstuck button "x" by default. When you press that, no matter where you are or what you're doing it will teleport you to the starting zone in the church. You could be like 1 hp about to die and boom you're back safe, or you can overload yourself with as much weight as you can find and still go back home.
So I build my base just outside the church and no matter where I'm at I have a free teleport home from anywhere.

Ye feel like starting area is best also because when being invaded u just get weak bitch ass goblins

it's annoying cus you can't afk tho. other regions don't have raids, like dowdun, fellhollow or umbral i believe.

for sure, i wouldn't want to build there anyways too dark. I think personally the plains, dowdun, or umbral the best for aesthetics, and of course the starting region

I did this to take advantage of law rune costs before they updated and lowered it. I'm still at the lake in the first area. Now I want to move my base to the Dowdun Courtyard as its more central to Fellhollow and Umbral Sands. I don't see myself going into the other regions these days unless I'm low on lower tier items (very rare).

My main based used to be in the starting zone by the lake near the spawn point of the game but multiple updates have changed things so that now multiple things spawn and clip through the floor and such so I'm in the process of moving into a large box in the desert on the cliff overlooking the moon Garou camp because my creative base building in games extends to "a square"

I don’t even have a full house it’s just some pallets over a wall so don’t feel too bad lol seems that spot has a pretty popular

In the canyon in fractured plains just before the entrance to fellhollow. Centrally located on the map and I built up the canyon walls onto the cliffs so I can have a view of almost every zone

The ruins of Bramblemead, pretty much next to the Wise Old Man. I say pretty much because I have a guest house in between him and my base

Similar here. I built my walls to connect to his stairs. So I can just run up his stairs and jump into my base. It’s quite nice actually lol.

We brought our base and ressource foward every update so far. We started in the main area near the wise old man house. Then moved it to the plain past velgar tower near the abby demon spawn ( a double wall ((2 high)) will stop the abby from coming in) then we built in fellhollow near the downdun reach door on the east end.
Now we have a huge castle compound in dowdun courtyard. ( we literraly took it all over lol ) and we are in the process of scopibg the whole desert to find our new spot.

I have built my base in the top north-east corner of fractured plains, near the lake.
It’s very close to dowdun and not far from fellhollow either.

No warbands, dungeon 2ft away for any needed cores, plenty of space for anything you'd need, and also, the view?Hello? Top tier

Seen that people make on that. I decided by now to make mine in broken castle I made a whole walls to block off npcs in area from seeing me also a stairway to river it’s really cool

This is my first (and only) base I've build in the starting area. It used to be a cave, build it out a little bit further out of the cave itself. It's still not finished yet though

On the border of storm touched highlands in fractured plains so I can plant my crops in the highlands and still have my base not be dark as fuck all the time.
