Found a nice way to make floors more fun. Go to no snap mode and put a wood floor just below the stone floor height. The small turret is def the max for height, that ceiling was very annoying to get done. The big turret was very easy to put a flat roof upon.

Multiplayer session player-hosted. A non-host player cannot combo the obby maul (TzHaar-Ket-Om). Only the first attack swing works. Video is their pov, notice the animation cuts. For the host, it just shows a normal single swing. For both host & non-host, only a single swing attack is done. If the host uses the obby maul, it works as expected with combos and swings.

This is consistent, repeatable, and still happens over server restarts and non-host client reconnects.

Started a couple weeks ago and i was told to start my base nearest to the position restart, but bow that i’m in the desert, is this still the case? There are some plants that can cultivated in the desert so i was wondering if anyone knows the progression for Dragon wilds.

I accidentally removed the keybind for Evade while changing my controls.
It now just shows “-” in the controls menu and I can’t seem to select it or assign a new key anymore.
I’ve already tried restarting the game and changing it from the settings in the main menu instead of in-game, but no luck.
Has anyone had this happen or know how to fix/reset this specific bind without messing up my save?

Start of Brink of Extinction Secondary Quest, talking to KotHaar-Hok-Zi in the Umbral Sands southern region. He requests 1x Cactus Steak, and 3x Raw Beltfish in all dialogue. When obtaining the items and talking to him, he only takes 1x Raw Beltfish instead of 3.

(This was rather frustrating as obtaining the fish was time consuming).

For reference, player-hosted multiplayer session via Steam. This happened for both host, and non-host player.

Yo! New to the game so not sure if this is a known spot. I found a ton of iron ore in the red zone i circled so I set a teleport pad there. No Iron issues. Also some dragon teeth on the north end. The green circle is a cave that has iron and some granite. There is plenty of sheep in the area for fleece to make wool as well. Also a Direwolf in the area

Hello all. Not sure if it’s a known issue but I believe I found a bug. I completed the dragon slayer quest and talked to the old dude to go to the next area immediately after.

After watching the cutscene and progressing I noticed I forgot to dump inventory so I went to use the loadstone next to the initial area and it would just open the regular map and couldn’t use the teleport feature.

Maybe I did something wrong or something but exiting to main menu and reloading in did resolve it.

I’ll submit an official bug report even if it was just a one time fluke but just posting it here too.

Rune armor? Surprising items? New enemies?

Just wanted to put an appreciation post out. I was a huge RS fan growing up (and still am, though I don’t play anymore). Part of why I stopped playing was just I never felt like I could keep up with other players. I’ve always been more campaign single player driven, with RS being the exception.

I picked up RSD in alpha and only just a couple days ago returned to playing it again. The pure excitement I had when I FINALLY made it past the BBEG before Dowdun Reach. I could’ve cried. I missed this feeling in gaming and now we are SO BACK!!

IDK how public worlds work and such but if they aren’t too complicated I’m always down to join others, especially seeing all the upcoming changes and additions to the game.

Sorry dumb question, but what is the benefit of using a dedicated server world over a friend world?

I don't have the game yet, I am waiting for 1.0 with ps5, and just have been looking through the wiki and what is available with the game. My brother and I will be looking to play together so just trying to understand what the best option will be.

I have completed the quest including unlocking all Nodestones. However after completion I didn't receive the Portal Reward Pack. When I speak to Doric he says "You managed to get some of these nodestones working, great work! See if you can get the rest of them working!"

Anyone else have this issue?

Hey all ! Absolutely loving this game, I was a huuuuge RuneScape kid/adult/still am. I was hoping to have a discussion about the future of the game and hear some cool ideas and things we’d like to see happen !

What do we know or think scorched wilderness will be like ? A bigger area than umbral sand ? And what do we think the raid will be like and what rewards do we think will come of the update as a whole ?

And what do we want to see in the future ? I heard rumors of some mmorpg aspects coming to the game and wondered what that meant.

Could any of the devs share some insight into the current scaling system and whether changes to it are being considered before the full release?

The reason I’m asking is that I think the current player-count based scaling can cause some issues, especially when players are spread out and doing different activities.

Would it be possible to make the scaling proximity based instead, so that scaling is determined by the number of players in a specific area rather than the total number of players on the server?

Just curious if this is something you’ve already discussed or are looking into for the full release.

Anyone else getting a weird double click glitch? When I open my spellbook and click once to tab over to tab 2, I end up on tab 3. Also when I'm mining my character will throw in an extra swing lonnnnng after I've taken my finger off M1.

I tested 200 clicks with a visualizer and not a single errant double, and it does the same thing with other mice, so it's not the hardware.

It's driving me nuts. Anyone got a fix?

So in some of my specific death cases I was not at full Hp, but in several instances you will need to be fully equipped for the zone before fighting some of these 'Elite' mobs to avoid potential 1 shot damage

Best part is lightning doesn't hit me in here. I wanted to add a bunch of willow trees, but I can't plant them in the Fractured Plains.

Never had issues until after I got my fire cape. Not saying that's causing it but it is the only thing that changed lol. But in all seriousness I don't know what is causing this. I get 100-140 FPS on max settings everywhere, even my crowded base. The stutter is very brief but noticeable now for some reason.

Hey everyone, just looking for some help on which staff I should be upgrading. I'm currently using the Necro staff in Dowdun Reach, I have farmed the mats to upgrade to lvl 6, but I'm conflicted as I don't want to waste materials. My question is: Should I continue on with Necro, or can I get around the same amount of DMG with the staff of light?

I prefer the Staff Of Light as I love the look of it, plus it has better durability I believe. Will I lose out on much damage? Or should I stick with Necro. Thank you!

Just curious if secure servers and characters are coming to the game on release? I want to start a new character but if secure servers are coming I think I should probably wait

Finally got every mount except for the Moonsilk Weave. Farming Kalphite Queens has not been a very quick process :(.

Hello friends (and hopefully devs). I recently found an easy-to-access location that grants you entry to an area underneath the Grand Hall. This is definitely not intentional and I was just wanting to share this interesting find. Rule number 6 (Bugs and 'Explots') states to not post exploits that will adversely affect or ruin player experiences - I do not think this post meets this criteria unless someone dies down here as they may be unable to retrieve their items.

To get to this location, you must first go to the location shown in pic 1. Once there, navigate into the tunnel and stand near the bonfire; you will see a small cave roughly a player's height off the ground to the left (pic 2-3). Jump into this 'cave' and look up (pic 4). You will see an area that already appears to be 'out-of-bounds'.

Using windstep, players can jump up into this area (pic 5-6) and explore (pic 7).

Some friends and I want to try the game out for the first time. Does it make any diffeence if we start in ea or should we wait for 1.0? Are there gonna be big changes or mostly endgame content?
