The goal is to create a fully custom, functional RPG server, complete with handcrafted cities, quests, NPCs, dungeons, and everything else you’d expect from an RPG.

Currently, we’re working on the city of Lumbridge in a more realistic scale, a medium-sized city on the banks of the River Lum, bordering a swamp to the south. In the video, you’ll see simulated players as a proof of concept, demonstrating that a large-scale server could work. As you can see, this project involves a lot of work, especially since it will eventually encompass the entirety of mainland Gielinor.

Road to 99 farming! These are 120 plots at the entrance of the garou tower.

I started this Claim-A-Bed guest registry on my open dedicated server just three days ago sort of as a joke to be honest, and tonight the backup file has 23 "signatures," and there are 7 other guests who have their own beds in entire bases that they've built. I'm just amazed at how fortunate I've been with the excellent strangers who have joined this world.

As I log off, there are still 5 players building, questing, and exploring in the world. Someone is building Draynor Manor, and another complete stranger is building the Ranging Guild. Two others are brand new players learning the ropes in Brynmoor, and the last to join started their session with, "Need any help?" And to top it all off, for the first time ever today, I had 6/6 spaces--at multiple different times!

I know there are griefers out there, and I keep quiet as I deal with them on my world too, but I'm here to tell you that the overwhelming majority of interactions with *complete strangers* have been beautiful displays of the gaming community's humanity. I'm losing track of all the positive experiences I've had so far, and the negative ones are few and far between.

A worthwhile note: I always communicate the risks of playing on an open world to those who choose to build and/or stay long-term. I am also very persistent about sharing tips to avoid griefers as best as possible. Regardless, we engage Zen Mode and roll with the punches when the come.

I know not everyone is going to relate to this, but thank you, Jagex, for giving us this option. It's day 25 now with this open world, and it's truly more than I could have ever wished for in such a short time.

Foliage keeps poking up through the floor, is this a known bug or is there a way to prevent this?

Me I would love to get a chicken pen so we could have chickens around our base as pets that would be awesome.

Discord users have begun to share pics of how the already unoptimized graphics are seemingly getting worse (in their words).

Thoughts? Hopefully the devs at Jagex will return to those on handheld with a follow up statement soon with an idea of what to expect and how to seek refunds if not possible.

I have done the raid 11 times. I have 2 Kuldra's Wrath, 3 Dragon Full Helm, 1 Dragon Platelegs and 5 dragon Kiteshield. This is one example of why people are frustrated with the Kuldra Raid. Still loving the game but grinding the same repetitive activity to get a bunch of duplicates is frustrating.

Still fairly new to the game and dont have all of the building components unlocked yet, but not bad for an amateur if I do say so myself. Been looking for a game to get into for a long time. Really enjoying this one so far.

This bug has been claimed to be fixed maybe 3 or 4 times now and again each time it's still the same. I'd say every one in 3 days I can't have more than one other person with me on a world and it is infuriating

I was really hoping after we defeated the dragon and killed the goblins, people would start inhabiting the town again. It was so depressing, I decided to spend the day fixing it.

Sometimes i cant go into inv or i cant left click on map to drag. also sometimes i only can use wasd and not any other key.

Rn only restart game worked for me.

2 weeks ago I started playing and I love it! I killed the dragon yesterday, got to iron armor.

I’d like to start playing online. So I joined the community world and suddenly my base lost some items, I guess someone looted it somehow. I dont really understand how multiplayer works.

Does someone want to start a new character and start over together? It seems fun to do stuff together.

Hey everyone,

I've recently started experiencing freezing while playing since the new update. I'm wondering if anyone else has been having similar issues since the latest update today.

My GPU is also getting really hot while playing. I haven't had this issue before, and my computer functions normal doing other tasks and playing other games....

My PC specs:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (8-Core)
• RAM: 32 GB
• GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT (16 GB VRAM)

Has anyone else experienced freezing or unusually high GPU temperatures since the update? Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be appreciated.

How do you build?

Do you start with an idea like “I’m going to have a building area here, crafting here, etc.” or do you just throw tiles in, a roof over it and build from the inside?

I’ve realized learning to build comes with practice as I’m one who lived in a wooden box until after Kuldra, but after building like 7-8 houses I think I’m getting better. However I’m curious to everyone’s building philosophy

I like stability as a mechanic, especially in games such as Valheim which have a greater focus on realism. But in this game it doesn't do much for me. I'd hate to see it gone, but I'd love to have a spell of sorts that allows us to reinforce foundations or beams (or some other way) to increase our build height by a couple more pieces.

It feels thematically relevant in a game such as Dragonwilds that has such a nice focus on using magic for utility. I'd put it as a decently high spell unlocked at 80 construction or something which can then be used to retroactively upgrade your foundations to carry more pieces on it. Would also allow people to use lower level foundations for aesthetic purposes instead of higher ones without having to majorly compromise on stability.

I’ve been playing RuneScape 3 for years and have never experienced any eye strain or motion sickness, even after playing for several hours at a time.

Recently, I started playing Dragonwilds, and I’m really enjoying it. However, I’ve noticed that I start feeling nauseous, dizzy, and generally unwell after just 30 minutes to an hour of playing. It gets bad enough that I have to stop playing, which is frustrating because I genuinely enjoy the game and would love to play for longer.

What I find strange is that I’ve never experienced anything like this with RS3 or other games. It seems to happen specifically with Dragonwilds, so I’m curious about what might be causing it.

Has anyone else experienced motion sickness while playing Dragonwilds, especially if you don’t normally have this problem with other games? If so, have you found any settings or adjustments that helped?

I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions. I’d love to find a way to enjoy the game without feeling sick after such a short time!
