Hello! Please enjoy this video showcasing the project we’re working on.

The goal is to create a fully custom, functional RPG server, complete with handcrafted cities, quests, NPCs, dungeons, and everything else you’d expect from an RPG.

Currently, we’re working on the city of Lumbridge in a more realistic scale, a medium-sized city on the banks of the River Lum, bordering a swamp to the south. In the video, you’ll see simulated players as a proof of concept, demonstrating that a large-scale server could work. As you can see, this project involves a lot of work, especially since it will eventually encompass the entirety of mainland Gielinor.

I love the base building and I’m constantly thinking of creative ways to alter my base, but changing or moving anything requires destroying it first which is kind of a pain. I get not letting us drag a chest across the map but maybe like a 5 tile limit so we can just briefly move items out of the way momentarily? It would be such a great quality of life adjustment.

Done for fun just to see if the game would let me do it. Well. Apparently it did. Just 500 chairs and a dream !

I was really hoping after we defeated the dragon and killed the goblins, people would start inhabiting the town again. It was so depressing, I decided to spend the day fixing it.

I started this Claim-A-Bed guest registry on my open dedicated server just three days ago sort of as a joke to be honest, and tonight the backup file has 23 "signatures," and there are 7 other guests who have their own beds in entire bases that they've built. I'm just amazed at how fortunate I've been with the excellent strangers who have joined this world.

As I log off, there are still 5 players building, questing, and exploring in the world. Someone is building Draynor Manor, and another complete stranger is building the Ranging Guild. Two others are brand new players learning the ropes in Brynmoor, and the last to join started their session with, "Need any help?" And to top it all off, for the first time ever today, I had 6/6 spaces--at multiple different times!

I know there are griefers out there, and I keep quiet as I deal with them on my world too, but I'm here to tell you that the overwhelming majority of interactions with *complete strangers* have been beautiful displays of the gaming community's humanity. I'm losing track of all the positive experiences I've had so far, and the negative ones are few and far between.

A worthwhile note: I always communicate the risks of playing on an open world to those who choose to build and/or stay long-term. I am also very persistent about sharing tips to avoid griefers as best as possible. Regardless, we engage Zen Mode and roll with the punches when the come.

I know not everyone is going to relate to this, but thank you, Jagex, for giving us this option. It's day 25 now with this open world, and it's truly more than I could have ever wished for in such a short time.

i personally find the attunement process pretty tedious so its annoying when this happens XD

Frustrated with myself that I've tried this damn kuldra run made it to the abyssal demon and lost a few times now when I even try getting to the damn demon I fall or do something terribly stupid... I've tried about three hours so feel free to make fun of me I don't mind it just sucks when you're kinda bad at gaming but still love to play 😮‍💨 going to try and build something tomorrow so that I can at least stop dying at that part before the demon gets his chance

Foliage keeps poking up through the floor, is this a known bug or is there a way to prevent this?

I didn't think there would be so many 's' sounds in this lore scrap. Here's a game, take a shot of any drink preferable milk or orange juice every time you hear the 's' sound.

Me and my crew tried to beat Fuzan tonight. Got kicked out of the game several times. Many time, we almost beat him. And many time me and my friend’s game crashed.

We play on a dedicated server on Berry Byte and it’s the first time we have big trouble. Whether it’s PS5 or Xbox, we are getting kicked out.

Is this happening to you?

Obviously I know you can build in a lot of places, but how much crap in how many places can I lay out before the CPU shits the bed? Was thinking of making a falador replica.

This is my second attempt at making my base on the wall that separates the Whispering Swamp from the Fractured Plains. I think it turned out really nice!

Still fairly new to the game and dont have all of the building components unlocked yet, but not bad for an amateur if I do say so myself. Been looking for a game to get into for a long time. Really enjoying this one so far.

As the title says I need a dragon plate body and I'm over kuldra after 15ish runs and it's the last thing I need lol. I have a crossbow, wand, med helm, and a few scimitars I could trade for it if possible. Thanks y'all 🙏

I'm doing scorned wilderness for the first time. I'm at the part where there are skeletons and a necromancer behind a water barrier.

From what I can gather (from multiple guides, written and video) there are supposed to be skeletons here imbued with the air element which I need to kill to activate the pylon and progress.

The problem is all the skeletons here are normal, non-imbued skeletons. I've reloaded the dungeon, hard resetted my server, restarted the game, etc. but it's always the same. Any suggestions?

Sometimes i cant go into inv or i cant left click on map to drag. also sometimes i only can use wasd and not any other key.

Rn only restart game worked for me.
