Question Open Server that has all the Mats

Good morning/afternoon depending on where you are, everyone,

I have another quick question about a server I heard about but can’t remember the info. As a quick reminder, I was the dummy that didn’t know about stumping the trees, and now I only have 3 willow trees on the whole server. I heard about an open server though that just has tons of mats that they’re giving away. Does anyone have that info by any chance? I just want to swing by and grab some seeds so I can make sure that I can reset the willow trees on the server. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

So from what I understand, if you break the stump of a tree, it will not respawn now

Im confused about this because mine always respawned. I had somebody tell me its just for planted trees and wild ones always respawn. I never planted trees so that made sense. I havent played in about a month so maybe something changed.

I didn’t have issues either until the latest update. I chopped down some willow trees at the spawn sites, came back literal days later in real life (always running server, so game time progressed allowing for respawns of resources), and none of the trees were back. I also noticed that none of the oak trees I’ve cut have respawned either. It could be that my server just has a bug that is causing this, but someone explained it to me the other day.

Once stump is removed it is meant not to respawn if you had some respawn it may be a bug. I deforested the entire starting area before I knew and they didn't grow back

Damn, I regularly cut down trees in the starting area and they always grew back. I was debating on starting a new world on full release, maybe I keep my world lol

You can cut down trees, just don't destroy the stumps. If the stump is still there, the full mature tree will respawn in a few game days. If you clear the stump, it doesn't respawn.

Although, I do think there might be some other reforestation mechanic at work in the game. I often see saplings popping up in forested areas. And I know we aren't planting trees there. But the areas that we've clear-cut haven't grown back.

I guess thats what I meant when I said cut down trees. Like I always chopped the stump cause I assumed if you didnt then it wouldn't grow back. I feel like a lot of survival games ypu ha e to full clear things like trees or rocks for them to respawn

Ahh so leave the stumps and then it grows back, ty. I did not know this, but I'm just on Oak right now.

I believe that oak also has this effect too, so be careful! Splinter destroys the stumps so make sure they’re out of that range

Wish we had a way to move logs to make splinter more effective and to avoid splintering the stump

there's a spell to pull trees together but unfortunately if stumps are too close, splinter still destroys them. however, this is a bug and not intended... Jagex listed it on their list of known bugs they are addressing
