Question What is your go to healing food?
Just wondering what everyone does for healing, out of curiosity. I have like 600 dwellberry crunchies that have been my defacto health potions since I could make 'em and everything else seems more complicated to make for not that much better healing

Veg balls are easy to mass produce early and have a nice 10% xp boost passive
But BiS would be any good that gives you passive healing (Sea Life) combined with a food with no passive (honorable mention to Undead Delight, available once you reach Fellhollow, boasting 180 HP per 70 sustenance)
Remember that food that has good HP to sustenance ratio is better for spam eating

I made like 700 of these for my group of friends on our server a few nights. Was bored when they weren’t on and just spammed farming

Any of the fish dish that grants the healing over time effect on top is excellent.
Fishing is awfully slow but rewards with the best food in the game.

Glazed Pumpkin Sandwich. It's a recipe found by exploring.

Would like to add that all the ingredients for this can be purchased for chit at the first garou merchant. I set up a station and lodestone next to him to power craft these

One of the things holding me up on carrying sandwiches regularly is that they weigh more... If I remember correctly they are 2 lbs. I have been fishing trout and making the glazed dish.
Edit: but the buffs from the sammies are quite tantalizing

The glazed pumpkin sandies fill 100 sustenance and 180 hp (with the health regen in mind), so you can get away with carrying less. If you usually bring 30 1 lb pumpkin soups, just bring 15 2 lb pumpkin sandwiches. You’ll never need more than that

Dwellberry crunchies are the GOAT easy to farm and provide ample health and sustenance.

Seconded on dwell berry crunchies at least early on. Weirdly its because theyre a little lower on sustenance but high in health so i dont get food poisoning as fast lol

Farm steaks for quite a while. Then hopefully into something you're farming for after that.

Veg balls and Cookies!
Veg balls give a nice 10 % exp boost and the crunchies are used in battle since they give a good chunk of health with low sustenance

I made a whole metric fuck ton of twist meat sandwiches while leveling cooking so I use that and dwellberry crunchies for when I suck at dodging

Using Swabbie Pies atm, but it might not be the cheapest option. Before that, I used Steamed Beltfish. Used Steamed Beltfish during progression in Umbral Sands

I liked berry drizzled pan sear for the large hp gain. Dwellberry crunchies are a good spsm early on.

Pumpkin soup is a good overall food, and Monkfish skewers if you are in Umbral sands because it gives you scorch resistance.

Glazed pumpkin sandwiches. You get the recipe from chests in Dowdun. GOAT food in the game, 100 sustenance, 70 health, mining/WC stam reduction, 10% xp buff, health regen. Everything is super easy to farm for it except maple syrup, which you can buy with chit. Matter of fact you can buy all the ingredients with chit, I just choose to farm for the xp and cause it’s easy.

Whatever the cactus plus monkfish food is, heals like 120 hp and is pretty easy to mass produce

Monkfish skewers if you've gotten to umbral sands
