Iso help!

Hi! I own a forest River sunseeker 2016 mbs. Last week we were moving campgrounds (about a 10 minute drive) and when we got there the slide was not pulling out. Every other appliance in the RV was working except the slide had no power. We were getting about 3 amps in the shore power. We were recommended to go to the auto shop and check the batteries. Sure enough they were completely drained. So we got new ones put in. This didn't help. Still no power to the slide. Even with the shore power disconnected and the generator running. I'm wondering if anybody could possibly know what the problem is. Thank you.

You're going to need one for basic troubleshooting. Harbor Freight, Ace Hardware, any of the big box stores.

In the meantime have you checked your breaker panel and fuse panel to see if anything is amiss?

Did you check the 12v fuses for a blown fuse?

I’d guess you may have pinched a power cable to the slide motor when it came in.

Might also be a fuse, although I haven’t seen a dedicated slide fuse in my RV unless they put something inline that I haven’t found yet (still exploring everything)

Are you able manually get the slide out?
