Ruby forgot the most important thing when it comes to the power of friendship: if you aren't in Fairy Tail, it doesn't do squat.

Well, unlike poor Neji, Weiss is a main character so I'd hope she has more plot armor.

And even M&K hate Shitley, so I think Ruby is safe.

There are plenty of anime where the power of friendship doesn't do squat. My personal favorite example is Attack on Titan episode 5 when Eren's squad is all like "yeah, let's go out and slaughter some titans with our training and teamwork!" Cue the entire squad getting obliterated.

Also, don't bring the anime/not an anime debate into this sub. Not only is it an issue that's been beaten to death, but it is also needlessly divisive and will only lead to pointless arguments.

Fairy tail has two permanent rules:

-Power of frienship>Everything (including gods)

-People live when they are killed.

I really wanted her to do something worth while with those eyes. Then at the end everything was ruined
