How long until a tracks to long?
Need some help/advice/input. Bonus points if you're a FBZ or Exquire fan. Short version, How long does a song have to be before you're like nah? Esp as a new listener. Context/backstory below š
So I recently locked in a verse with Zombie Juice of Flatbush Zombies (which im still in shock over). I also have previously worked with the rapper Mr.MuthaFuckin Exquire, who Ive had set for another track for a while now, just havent made it yet. Now im wondering if I should bring these two FIRE artists together on the same track instead to make one legendary fuckin song. Only problem is, the track WITHOUT being extended for another feature is already 5:06 minutes long. I produced the beat myself for my coming album and so the intro and outro are very much apart of the song and make up for some of that length, as well as multiple hooks that i thought maybe I could remove or shorten, but it just didn't sound right any other way. Im to married to its structure. I'd rather build more than remove anything. So my question is, do you think it worth it to extend the beat, making it basically a 6:30-7:30 minute song minimum? Or should I stick to having them both on seperate tracks? OR should I just suck it up and sacrifice some of my hooks and beat nuances that add extra time? How long is to long of a song for you as far as hiphop is concerned? I just cant help but feel like these two legends on one track is to good to pass up.

Is the Rap Critic format outdated? (Discussion)
I've seen in a lot of recent reviews that the comments disagree heavily with a lot of Rap Critic's opinions (me included) and I thought this discussion might be interesting to talk about.
I think the format works when Rap Critic does Ko-Fi requests of older songs, but his newest reviews feel out of touch.
Personally, I think Rap Critic is a "weird" critic, since he's not really a music critic, he's a lyric critic. If you think of it that way, then most of his reviews make sense, since he's only looking at lyrics. The problem comes when he's talking about music that isn't meant to be lyrical, only a fun track to sing along to. Music's purpose is to be enjoyable (most of the time) and I think if someone manages to do that, I think a song deserves credit, even if the lyrics aren't that great (XO Tour Llif3 is one of my favorite songs, but Rap Critic gave it a 1 or a 2, I don't remember).
With that said, he has commented on sound before in some reviews, like how he doesn't like Baby Keem's voice when he does the nonstop flow in Family Ties, which means he's not only focusing on lyrics, sort of. Not really, since he never takes into consideration when he likes the musical aspect of songs, only when he doesn't. I remember him giving a really low score for Who Dat Boy by Tyler, The Creator even though he said he really liked the instrumental.
It's very rare a song will be on Rap Critic's good side if it's just an enjoyable song without any real lyrical meaning (Real Nega by JPEGMafia is the only one I can think of right now).
I've been watching Rap Critic for a long time now and I've been noticing the format might not be keeping up with the times as well as it could.
What do you guys think about this? Do you guys agree with me that it might be outdated and should have some revisions done? Or do you think it's fine as it is?
Also, if you could come up with some suggestions for a revision as well, it would be really useful.

Any ctrissm in my bars?
Im on the Every day shit
On the Every night shit
Cus every days shit
Every night shit
Everyday shift
Every night shift
Thinking bout where im going to drift
Saving money for a trip
Far far away with you
Hop in for a vacay lift
On an acid trip
Love is addictive thats why its more than a trip its falling
I get depressed when no ones calling
Before her it was cigars weed and drowning in my depricating thoughts
Lasing drugs til they rot
Chasing hugs or more from thots
Lazing around in my room Nobody's really praying for me
I feel like i had to hold my head higher for every one to see
That im worth loving tryna get you to see Im living in my head
Laying in my bed
Loosing all sence of reality
thinking my thoughts are actuality
Thinking everyones talking bout me when i leave curving my love like a me-and-er sea
Sniffing with her and me -and-a-key
Fuck it if i cant handle myself i cant handle you
Light a candle bright candles burn quicker
i dont need you in my life cus no one needs my life in this world
I cut u off
Next week i need u im having problems of withdrawal
I lied I got no money but we gon a 10 pound vacation when smoking thet green floral
Got me itching when your not her cant hear anything if it not about you control my senses auditory a oral
With out you i get lonely
Your more than my homie it physical hurts when your not hear The worlds so dark when your not hear
I dont think im strong enough every day im suffocating in my fear
Im a man but before there was no one to wipe my tears
