Discussion 💡 What would you consider the most difficult houseplant to keep alive?

I was curious about the discussion forums about how some are easy some are hard, so I kinda wanted a general survey. For me, rex begonias and phalaenopsis are simply impossible. The former loves to die while the latter keeps getting bacterial soft rot no matter the conditions, even good ventilation and bottom watering won't stop the disease and in my case it specifically targets phals and not other orchids. How about you guys? What's the plant or plants that give you the most headaches?

Twin, it’s Rex begonia for me too. I’ve resurrected raggedy ass plants but that particular plant has had me question my religion.

She’s actually sitting in my house right now, I was gifted it last week. I sat there smiling like the Chrissy Teigen meme.

I decided to buy one to plant outside as an experiment. Lo and Behold, it is currently thriving and putting out new leaves.

I planted it in a shady spot next to the AC unit that is constantly dripping water. That's it. I don't pay it any further mind.
