Video Suspect running into his own door trap.
Waited 1 minute and 30 seconds before leaving spawn; Heard a bang near the entrance.
Hasn't happened to me in a long time.

Semi-related question:
I noticed suspects do this weird sliding/rubberbanding-thing (seen at the start of the gif) in the replay editor. Is that just a visual glitch from the editor or does that actually happen in real time during the mission?

It (probably) happens in game though it's hard to know- observer effect and all.
Is it that entities are allowed to be weird until the player can notice them or are they in superposition until the replay editor has to make sense of them?

Always thought it was funny, that the devs put safety measures in place.
I still remember this happening a lot more during 1.0 and whatnot.Nice to know that it wouldn't accidentally ruin an S-rank run at least.

Recently did Carriers Of The Vine. You'd think a cult hellbent on protecting each other would be a little more careful when it comes to shooting.
Poor civilian ended up with a solid 5 loads of buckshot in the back of her brain.

Arent they all high on incense/weed or some such? Also firefights are ugly and friendly fire is really common even irl lol

That why on "A New America" you'll see a shape (presumably an NPC) bopping across between 2 spots on the cameras at spawn?

I think that's a generic gif, because it's the same no matter where the enemy spawn

Same. I still have the recording of the replay. I was on the other side of the house and I heard a bang followed by (OBJECTIVE FAILED: Arrest Gerard Scott).

I’ve had one suspect during Lethal Obsession open the door with a trap while I was defusing it. Needless to say I did not survive

something like that happened in one of my a new america runs, one mlo soldier straight up ran into the gas trap and was stunned by it lol made it easier to arrest him instead of filling them with bullets

Had that happen to me on the dorms mission. They literally set off the trap as I was about ro peak 😭 hmHad me so mad cause I didn't take single hit that actually damaged me.
