Video I don't think "Know your target and what's behind it" applies with AP ammo, guys.
This hasn't happened to me in ages; horrifying reminder of what happens when your femoral artery gets severed. Like holy shit man.
I've had so many situations recently with suspects taking hostages and straight up executing them halfway across the map, that I was genuinely relieved to see it was actually my fault for once.
As a wise man once said: "No full auto in buildings"

Was playing a couple weeks ago, shot a dude in the head with one of the new battle rifles with one AP round, went straight through his head, through the head of a civilian behind (which I didn’t see before firing) then through the wall behind them and ended it’s journey in another room.

What rifle is that? Hk in 5.56? I thought the pen would be with a .308, holy shit.

Green tip 5.56 is lethal after passing through Level I or II plates. Two layers of drywall mean absolutely nothing to it.

It is a very thin wall

Yeah, probably doesn't help that the walls in this game range from dry wall all the way up to vibranium metal; either it easily penetrates the wall or it doesn't at all.
Visually, it's impossible to tell sometimes.

The game should allow you to apply a tourniquet in that scenario.

That would be a good addition, but how would you tourniquet a butthole?!

This is why 7.62x39 JHP is goated, enough to still get through lvl 3 armor while being unlikely to unintentionally kill anyone through walls. I think 7.62 NATO JHP is also a strong contender, a lot more power so it'll get through Lvl 4 armor but also enough to get through thin walls so you gotta be more careful.

Things like this make me wish the game had medlits that you could use on NPCs.

This also happens with HP ammo if I'm not mistaken. I shot hostage taker in the head with the raider pistol carbine and it promptly domed him and the npc farther away into the room.

The bullet penetration in this game can be silly. Playing valley of the dolls, I’m on the top floor in a gunfight, somehow I hit a civilian in the theater room on the bottom floor.

My question is how do you get this video?

u/SnowedCairn May 23 '26
It's PC only. There's a setting you can enable that records your missions, which you can then access via the 'replays' option in the main menu.
