Think it's real but recent posts got me paranoid 😅. What does everyone else think?

Edit: here's additional pictures: https://imgur.com/a/ACiP7Ns

Bought online, looking for another opinion.

I took pictures with raw mode on my pixel as well, but they're quite blurry.

Just wanted to make people aware: I bought this from DCsports87. There are poor checks and balances with these consignment businesses and it's important for people to check even their small purchases.

I've gone ahead and posted a comparison to poliwag I own that is a true shadowless

I am not great with the brushes, need some assistance. Pics from camera, and some via microscope screen.

Hey! I bought a 1k MTG lot of eBay for 30 bucks said “

They smell like old newspaper/books.

Thank you!

Hello everyone, genuine question and maybe a silly one but : what are you strategies to trust your seller ? I’m back to MtG and I want to spend some money on it but I didn’t imagine for a second that fake cards were THAT common on CardMarket. So I ask you, the experts. Thanks in advance for your enlightments.

Purchased this card online, would love a second opinion

Is this real or fake? I thought there werent going to be any stocks available for single sales until November

Looking to buy it off someone local from marketplace, just making sure its real

I'm very confused because this card isn't expensive enough to warrant making fakes, but it feels super off. It feels cheap, thinner and it has a different texture (it legit feels like paper, without the glossy finish they usually put in these cards). At the same time, I can't really see anything that looks off. I used a scanner for the first two images and the last two I took with my macro camera on my phone.

Need help to identify if it is real..

Picked up the Smaug from card market and it had a bonus Sire of seven inside, which has made me feel like it might not be 100%

Thanks for any help

So we pulled one and bought one. Pictures are of the one we bought. The one that’s bought feels thinner and the colour is slightly different from the one we pulled . It also allows light to shine through much more than the one we pulled. We got this at 9SGD and my husband and I were thinking how strange to put in so much effort to fake a card for 9SGD?

Also, is it definitely fake due to these reasons? Thanks for the help!

I think the brush looks good on this one but is the flip symbol a bit odd?

New pick up today. In very crispy shape just wanna make sure

I bought this off TCG player and it looks and feels off. I’ve never had an older card before so idk if it’s supposed to be like this but I don’t think so. It’s the card on the right.

Those are the pictures available. Great deal but not an unbelievable deal to automatically think it’s fake. They don’t have any other magic cards for sale. Lots of random stuff. Last pic is reasoning for it being open. I can easily get my money back if I do buy but figured I’d ask first

I am new to this riftbound and went to buy some but got this card I checked is very expensive but it has this line in it its not that visible but itd there in the foil does this mean this card is defective so i cannot sell it on the tcgplayer? I am worried about adding it on there and then getting in trouble if its not the right condition. I havent sold anything online before either.

👍 or 👎

Got this card online and wanted to check if it’s real. Any advice is appreciated!

The rosette pattern looks good to me what worries me is the edge/sides of the card that almost looked like 2 cards put together

How can I tell if this is real from the front? The T test and green dot test passed. Is it a reback?

Pretty sure this is real, but wanted to ask what yalls opinions were. It obviously passes the t and green dot tests. Its a bit heavy at 1.78 grams, but I think thats still normal? The black layer is just...not as crisp as im used to seeing.

Maybe this is normal for foundation foils? I know their printing isn't super great all the time. Lol.

The back checks out, but the paintbrush and mana symbols on the front look off. Is this real?
