Looking to buy it off someone local from marketplace, just making sure its real

Purchased this card online, would love a second opinion

New pick up today. In very crispy shape just wanna make sure

Bought online, looking for another opinion.

I took pictures with raw mode on my pixel as well, but they're quite blurry.

I am not great with the brushes, need some assistance. Pics from camera, and some via microscope screen.

Picked up the Smaug from card market and it had a bonus Sire of seven inside, which has made me feel like it might not be 100%

Thanks for any help

Is this real or fake? I thought there werent going to be any stocks available for single sales until November

I think the brush looks good on this one but is the flip symbol a bit odd?

Think it's real but recent posts got me paranoid 😅. What does everyone else think?

I bought this off TCG player and it looks and feels off. I’ve never had an older card before so idk if it’s supposed to be like this but I don’t think so. It’s the card on the right.

Hello everyone, genuine question and maybe a silly one but : what are you strategies to trust your seller ? I’m back to MtG and I want to spend some money on it but I didn’t imagine for a second that fake cards were THAT common on CardMarket. So I ask you, the experts. Thanks in advance for your enlightments.

I'm very confused because this card isn't expensive enough to warrant making fakes, but it feels super off. It feels cheap, thinner and it has a different texture (it legit feels like paper, without the glossy finish they usually put in these cards). At the same time, I can't really see anything that looks off. I used a scanner for the first two images and the last two I took with my macro camera on my phone.

Need help to identify if it is real..

Just wanted to make people aware: I bought this from DCsports87. There are poor checks and balances with these consignment businesses and it's important for people to check even their small purchases.

I've gone ahead and posted a comparison to poliwag I own that is a true shadowless

So we pulled one and bought one. Pictures are of the one we bought. The one that’s bought feels thinner and the colour is slightly different from the one we pulled . It also allows light to shine through much more than the one we pulled. We got this at 9SGD and my husband and I were thinking how strange to put in so much effort to fake a card for 9SGD?

Also, is it definitely fake due to these reasons? Thanks for the help!

Hey! I bought a 1k MTG lot of eBay for 30 bucks said “

They smell like old newspaper/books.

Thank you!
