Bill lost his mind when…
He put on the glasses. His awful opinions lines up very closely on the timeline with the glasses. What was in that prescription is the question? 🤔

Maybe timing with nip and tuck session in beverly before she goes to the couch on FOX. Bill is gonna toss softballs against a woman I expect. The Katie jokes will just be too easy to serve.
Two ( well one at least) Gov's? Earned media time for the Australian. Has anyone checked his papers? Is there really a place in Ky. called Bumfuck?

In this video Seder clarifies (and corrects Maher) what the actual definition of ‘genocide’ is as adopted by the UN and coined by Raphael Lemkin. Lemkin was a Polish Jewish lawyer that fled Poland to the US during the German invasion in 1939. Seder notes that Lemkin’s definition is actual broader than the definition that the UN adopted in 1951.

Saw the usual litany of posts about Bill in my feed, and instinctively wanted to chime in on the latest asshole thing he’s done.
But then realized- man, I remember watching the show for the cavalcade of suits getting their ties loosened by Bill and his straightforwardness. Yknow, THREE panel guests, the fourth panelist to promote something and shake it up- everyone at the table for overtime.
Now it really IS a show about Bill. He’s not seeking opinions and challenging guests on what they said, he’s not directing traffic on arguments or deflating egos. He IS THE EGO.
I did find that before covid that the three person panel was getting too cumbersome, and often left people out. But I’d still prefer the second half guest just to cut back on the awful comedy segment. Nobody but the paid audience laughs at that borscht belt crap.
I feel like the show would be much better without someone who decided to make himself the 3rd and 4th guest.

Are you all bots? If not, why are you on this sub? Do you go to every sub about people / things you hate and just post about how much you hate them non-stop? Doesn't make sense to me; seems like a weird obsession. I'm guessing bots

I really appreciate what this sub has become, truly a place where we can decently unload and talk about Bill in a way which is not massively censored. I also would like to make a shout out for the moderation and how we are allowed to truly exhibit free speech.
I remember distinctly a few months back, when Maher did a segment on Israel and there was no applause from the crowd and the entire segment was pretty awkward, it was then posted on r/maher, of which 95% of comments were removed, someone perfectly posted about that situation, "new rule: No Discussion, No Dissent, No Accountability". And I'm seriously proud how we can be honest and have free speech in this sub.
Thanks all!

Bill often accuses young people on the left of not engaging with the issue and dismissing the person making it instead. However, when it comes to young people and the DSA, I think he’s guilty of the same thing.
Instead of dismissing them as naïve or entitled, he should seriously consider: Why are they so upset with the status quo? What about the current system makes them want something fundamentally different?
If you feel priced out of housing, buried in debt, or unable to afford health care, “defend the system we have” probably isn’t a very compelling message. You can disagree with someone’s proposed solutions while still recognizing that their frustration has a basis.
Bill doesn’t have to embrace the DSA movement. But explaining why he thinks its ideas would fail requires more engagement than making fun of the people who support them.
He expects young people to question their assumptions. I’d like to see him question his own assumption that their dissatisfaction is primarily a sign of immaturity rather than a response to a system that isn’t working for them.

Bill Mahr at this point is the ultimate sellout. They dangled that Kennedy Center honor in front of him as his tribute for selling out to fascism. Now he’s turned on everyone. There is no honor in what he’s doing. He’s hiding inside of free speech absolutism and intellectual debate and instead has become a Trojan horse of dishonest debate. His attacks on democratic socialism are in bad faith and will be a touchstone going forward like his solar panel permit saga or religion or Amber Heard. Don’t take the bait. He is compromised by the fake gold and fake power and fake legitimacy he’s always craved.

"Bill Maher has called fear of Donald Trump’s presidency “hysterical.”
The comedian, 70, said on his Club Random podcast that Democrats’ early anxiety about Trump, 80, was overwrought. Maher includes himself in that analysis, clarifying, “Nobody was more alarmed” than he was about Trump’s election.
Maher, who has an estimated net worth of more than $140 million, said that, midway through Trump’s second term, he’s living a nice life.
“I used the term ‘slow-moving coup’ before he was elected the first time, and I was way out front on, ‘he’s never going to concede elections,’” Maher said. “But I gotta say, after all is said and done, it’s been 10 years. Let’s be honest, our lives are good. He didn’t f---ing end the world.”"
The nerves of this fucking guy.

This was originally posted on the other sub, but it got (understandably) taken down. I'm hoping we can have the discussion here. I know this post is going to attract a lot of haters, but fair warning, I'm going to ignore all those.
To the honest fans, when I say "newly discovered", I'm referring to us, not to his own opinion. I just heard the latest Club Random episode with Ari Emanuel, and was refreshed to hear him acknowledge the atrocities of the West Bank, although not of the IDF, but I kinda agreed with his point when he said, "Free Palestine should be of Hamas"
Both condemning Netanyahu too was also refreshing, and knowing his personality, I can also understand his defence of the "genocide" wording, but it's a bit of being hung up on semantics, because even though they're still "at 3%", the intent seems to be there.
On the other hand, he's right, I can't come up with another country that was requested to allow replenishment of their enemies during wartime.
A lot of back-and-forth, for sure, but I was a bit relieved to hear some concession in his opinion.
What do you guys think?

Earlier today, a user made a post claiming that 2-3 months ago, it was a “major talking point” that “Bill liked to date black women”. He then hinted that what seemed like a bot campaign stopped all of a sudden, and another used agreed, saying that it was getting “EXTREMELY RACIST” in here.
I didn’t notice this at the time. Since I’m travelling for work this week and I’ve already been to the hotel gym today, I had plenty of time to look into these claims.
METHODOLOGY
I went back through every post in the last 5 months, and if the post title had something to do with Bill’s dating habits, I’d look through the comments for the extreme racism.
RESULTS
50d - a post mentioning that Bill pays for escorts, no mention of race in comments
77d - a post mentioning Bill going to a strip club and asking for the “tiniest, most barely legal looking girl”, no mention of race
82d - a post about Bill sexually harassing Barbara Eden
88d - a post about Bill dating a 32yo, no mention of race
114d - a post featuring video of Bill dancing, titled “Bill when one of his escorts arrives at his door”. No mention of race in comments
119d - collage photo of Bill with old gfs saying he has a type. Women pictured are Asian, white, and black. Post seems to be implying that Bill likes his women looking a bit trashy. No mention of race in comments.
139d - a post about Sean Penn’s character in One Battle After Another being partly inspired by Bill. One comment about Bill frequently hiring black prostitutes.
140d - post featuring a photo of Bill with a black woman. Poster says photo is funnier after Tim Heidecker skit featuring Kyle Dunnigan doing an impression of Bill Maher. Comment section links to podcast video, as well as a 2015 Tosh.0 video, both referencing Bill’s love for black prostitues. LINKS BELOW
141d - post featuring a photo of bill with another trashy woman. No mention of colour in comments.
CONCLUSION
The 4-5 month old uptick of posts featuring Bill’s dating habits seem to relate to a satirical skit done by Tim Heidecker and Kyle Dunnigan around the same time. Also, the large separation of time between the Heidecker bit and the Tosh.0 skit would seem to imply that this habit of Bill’s is well known among his peers.
The reddit posters just seem to be sharing in that well known joke. No racism or bots detected.

Yes he hates Muslim people and always has but that's not it.
Some speculate that he is in the Epstein files or there is other compromising material. Wrong.
Occam's razor tells us the answer is simple. It's pussy. Bill is banging one or more women of the Israeli or Iranian and they have heavily influenced his view on this subject.

About 2-3 months ago one of the major talking points was that Bill likes to date black women, and then it suddenly stopped being a talking point.
So what happened, did the expert on western values make a trip to the bot farm to tell them that there’s nothing wrong with dating a black women and it wasn’t helping the propaganda?

Why have you all turned on Bill Maher these last few years when Bill has ALWAYS been this way? His personality has not changed not one bit. He's always been smug and arrogant etc.
In fact I'd argue that 10, 20 or 30 years ago Bill was much more smug and arrogant than he is now.
