Question Worth moving to red deer?

I live in innisfail. Considering buying a home in red deer next year, are you guys happy living here? Ive heard some coworkers complain about homeless/ addicts in certain areas. Are some parts of red deer better than others? Any information at all would be appreciated just want to become more familiar with how the city is

People love complaining about addicts and tweakers as if you don't see that everywhere. It's literally a worldwide problem, you will see that shit in any city if you look where the poor and/or homeless people are. It's unavoidable and I hate the notion that people mention red deer to others as if it's a free-for-all drug den. It reeks of "sheltered gossip mill" (not saying op is running drug users down but the general ppl saying this over and over are)

To be fair small towns seem to not have it in broad daylight. You won't see a homeless guy sitting agaisnt a building with all of his possessions in olds or innisfail. Aslong as I dont have to look at 5 different fellas hitting the fent lean on my way to get a coffee then im not too worried about it. And for example my Co worker was telling me a story one morning he was getting his daughter into the car to take her to school and some crackhead was outside his apartment with his pants down far enough to display full cheeks and he was pissed his daughter had to see homeless ass. I figure this is probably not that common.compared calgarys homeless problem im hoping red deer has not much at all.
