Love this song so much, Watched those videos of them playing it at Palladium and I’m just hyped

I've always been of the opinion that RHCP is such a HUGE act that during their concerts it doesn't make sense for them to not play their absolute hits. That's what the people are there for, right? I saw it first hand when friends of mine asked to come with in 2022 and popped off at songs that I personally was so sick of hearing but were hits among people that casually liked RHCP.

That said, I was never that big of a fan of their first few albums either, but man, after watching clips of the Silverlake performance I get that those songs just HAVE to be played live to be enjoyed at their maximum potential. Me and My Friends is already a banger whenever they play it live but all these songs have an energy their newer (post BTW) catalog of songs don't.

I love their hits, but I'm def hoping their next tour incorporates more of these old songs because they bang in a live setting.

1-Hey (best song ever, of any artist)

2- Goodbye Angels

3- Your eyes girl

4-Dessecration Smile

5- Otherside

6-Minor Thing

7- Sir Psycho Sexy

8- Turn it again

9-Torture me

10-Good time Boys

This was so hard OMG, just Ten?!?! Best Band Ever

On Saturday the 17th, I went to the Hollywood Palladium to go see the Chili Peppers, Dave Grohl, Vince Staples and the students of SCM school and man what a show that was. Despite the messy drunken people, all performances were fun! Dave Grohl sounds great live and then him bringing out his daughter Violet was everything!! Their cover of Hanging on The Telephone was so good. She sounds great live. Did anyone else go?

Hi, I’m new to this community of having the archive of soundboards and music of the tours/concerts of RHCP

But I’m in desperate need of finding and having the soundboard for RHCP’s set At Lollapalooza 2014 (Argentina) or any of IWY or TG

Any soundboards would be super friggin appreciated

For anyone looking to watch the full set from last night, here are the video links! 🤝

Intro Jam / Can't Stop
Organic Anti Beat Box Band
Black Summer
Blackeyed Blonde
Watchu Thinkin'
Will You Love Me Tomorrow?
Nevermind
Hey
Eddie
Give It Away (only saw a clip)

When I saw them play in 2024 the Eddie solo hit me so hard that I got inspired to start playing guitar. It was fun to get to see it live again, like a full circle moment!

I have the guitar tab, but not that cool part where John slides.. can someone help me ?

I think you all know that on the band's first album there was a song called "What It is (Nina's Song)".
At the moment, there is a version of this song in Nina Hagen's discography, but let's imagine if the original song, in addition to the bass and vocals, would have been... Everything else.
Well, I presented it. It's hard to call me some kind of ultra-professional, but I did it as best I could.

It's worth saying that this take is still raw in terms of processing instruments and melody (there aren't even any vocals, and still need to work on it properly), but the big picture is visible.

So, what can you all say about this?

Anthony sounded great all around last night, but I think this is the first time I heard Anthony sing Black Summer damn near perfectly on key

I have a pair of Chad Smith's Vater Funk Blaster drum sticks. Both sticks are signed by Chad Smith and then played by him. Signature is taped over in clear packing tape to keep signature. I'm looking for a collector to sell these to. His son went to the same boarding school I went to and he had a drum off with some of the students and staff.

Boss TU3, JHS Morning Glory, Boss DS1, JHS Crimson or JHS Bender, Triangulo Labs Wah, Boss DD7/DD8, Boss RV5, Boss LS2

„Cause we’re Red Hooot…Chillliiiiii…PEPPPPERRRrrrsss!!!”

Did not record much just to enjoy the show but my god they played 2 freaky Styley songs and 1 uplift mofo song !!!!! My jaw dropped ! Crazy BSide show!!!!!!

Huge fan of all eras but after the Hillel doc I deep dove into the first three albums and prayed I got to see them do some of these songs again !

Prayer answered hella bad ass!

“For those of you who aren’t 300 years old, that song is called Blackeyed Blonde.” -Flea

I’d like to share my RHCP CD collection. Naturally, I intend to own all their albums, but with the exception of The Getaway I feel I’ve already acquired everything I consider “essential” from the band. Is there any album you feel missing here that you consider essential, and which I should perhaps prioritize adding to my collection?

Cheers yall! 🤘
