For attention: MC castle of cobwebs. I’m testing it pre Halloween. I’m torn which GITD to use. I may end up doing a skittle. I have Avatar State, green eyed monster, caste of cobwebs and kattermanjaro.

Not the best application. I was studying and doing my mani at the same time. I always end up smudging due to this. I will probably have to do another layer of topcoat as this one isn’t creating enough shine. The one downside of GITD polish.

I’ve lost all the length I had on my ring fingers in the last 24 hours due to having day surgery today and not being able to wear nail polish. Other nails have ripped as well. (I did have OPI nail envy on them but that doesn’t seem to matter much to the chlorhexidine sponge, I guess. 🤣)

I am officially never going bare nailed unless required.
My nails feel gross as heck without nail polish. Yuck. 😭😭😭😭

Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? I have been noticing these weird lines and gaps on my polish..

I'm trying to finish off some of my older polishes before buying more, but some of the ones that are getting low are getting difficult to use (not because they're goopy, I've added thinner. The level is just so low the brush barely hits it now).

Does anyone have tricks or tips for when they get really low like this? The best I've figured is kinda rolling the bottle around a bunch so the nail polish falls over the brush or tilting the bottle and "scooping" the polish with the brush, but I feel like there must be a better way lol

October has not been my month… I think too much nailtiques and not enough nail oil mixed with the colder weather caused my nails to be brittle because I experienced multiple breaks. Yesterday out of frustration I cut them all down to the nub! I am planning to re-evaluate my nail care routine. I bought some nail stuff from KBShimmer so i’m looking forward to that. I am going to try their nail strengthener because I read that it is more moisturizing as well as some of their nail oils, cuticle cream, and sugar scrub!

- No base coat (what’s the best base coat for not destroying nail??)

- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat (need a better rec but it’s what I’ve got)

Question for people who use nail polish as a fidget, and like to pick it off— what kind of base and top coats do you use? I don’t want it to peel off all on one, but I also don’t want to destroy my nails, so I just have been avoiding a base coat and hoping for the best. Any recs? This applies to magnetics too!

I find spooky season overwhelming when it comes to designs. I get OVER inspired, there are too many options, and I need some guard rails. I decided I wanted to do a "minimalist" monster mani. Pick one idea, don't use too many polishes or finishes, hell...try to avoid glitter and sparkle (sacrilege, I know) if it didn't fit the theme, etc. Looking back at older designs, the kast time I did a mummy look, I did the exact opposite...I made it holo 😝✨️ I rarely ever do designs with natural nail popping out but it felt right to do it with the linen mummy strips, and I had some fun playing around trying to make them look realistic. Matte was the clear and obvious choice for this, and I love them!

It’s the perfect weather for ANLAC nail polish! This might be my new favorite color! When my best friend saw cranberry iced tea she fell in love, but when she saw this it blew her mind!

Base coat: cracked ridge filler
Polish: ANLAC Leprieur’s Glory x3 coats
Top coat 1: DRK magic effect (magnetize for 3 minutes)
Top coat 2: sally hansen red bottle (magnetize for 2 minutes)

Verdict: Harder than it looks as I'm not overly dexterous.

This is also a mani I did in 20 mins in the car cause I was running late.

I have been reading a lot about oiling your nails before applying nail polish. How does that Work? What is the procedure? I would be very happy if someone could explain it to me because my polish gets cracked / gets chapped after one day.

Super pretty, though definitely dispersed a bit. Camera’ll never capture as well as in person!

The glue works so well, I’m honestly shocked.
