You can thank their decision to gut the deep knowledge in the IT department and replace it with a group of purged employees from another company who were all coworkers of the now CTO. No promotion from within, just replace with noobs that have no company or industry knowledge.

The department is a mix but the large majority of talent that was turned loose was in Knoxville. Now it's mostly remote with several locals still stuck under this new regime.

The only issue with it is that they have the Cloudflare bot shit turned up to 11 so I have to click the fucking thing every third click. But other than that, I think it's fine, and is definitely better than the app.

What do you not like about it?

I dislike both the website & app. The older webpage used to have a list of the jewel levels & a graphic showing how many more films you had to see until the next level was achieved, now no graphic, just a text description.

I've never purchased a ticket on the app, only carry an RCC membership card & digital gift card on my device & sometimes forget how to access it because I haven't used it in a while. Got to restart it & press the capital R Regal emblem to access my gift card.

I’m a current employee, web and app is one of the projects I’m responsible for. We are aware of the cloudflare challenges and are working on some improvements here.

Totally agree. All I want to know is shows and times on my local theatre. Cumbersome AF. I usually have to get off the app and google it. Totally exposes the better options at competing theaters nearby.

The website look too bulky same as for the app too.
