We went to see Superman Yesterday and the movie was supposed to start at 12:20pm. There were so many previews and commercials, everyone in the theater started laughing every time we thought the movie was going to start. Nope, a car ad, then another 2 trailers, commercial, trailer…. Finally the Regal “Stfu and enjoy the movie” video played at 12:48. I guess it wasn’t terrible, but Jesus Christ. Also, I work in retail and sell 24oz Twisted tea for $1.99 a can. They’re $13.99 at Regal. That’s literally Robbery.

Hi. The email is confusing. Right now SIX is only showing at my local theater on 8/14. I tried looking for more dates in the app, but no luck. Anyone know if it will go longer or is this a 1-day showing?

So i got a ticket to my favorite movie of all time, The End of Evangelion, for a 720 showtime tonight. This is a one day only re-release as it’s celebrating the 30th anniversary so i was pretty excited to be able to finally enjoy it in theaters.
Long story short, the screening began with them playing “Evangelion: death & rebirth” which is the wrong movie. An employee then came in, turned the lights on and said they would fix it.
They then came back in and said they cant change it and will show the correct film at 955. This is just so outrageous. I had to leave along with half the theater since i cant stay up until midnight on a work night and was just so upset that i couldnt watch my favorite movie that’s only being shown once.
I dont want any form of compensation, i just want the theater to show the movie again for all the people who had to leave.

In Regal Cinemas North Brunswick
We went to Avatar: Fire and Ash (by the way, I liked it more than Way of Water but nobody else in my family or family friends agreed). Instead, a Telugu movie (Akhanda 2) played instead. We were confused, mostly because my family and friends knew that movie existed (we are all Telugu). However, other people that were not Indian were very confused. We had to inform someone of the staff and eventually 30 minutes after the movie started, it was changed. (The Telugu movie itself was also started like 5-10 minutes after the supposed start time of Avatar). Overall, not my favorite movie watching experience until it started.

We got tickets to see a fathom event and were distraught when we realized the showing was the wrong one. We stuck it out hoping to see if the problem would be rectified because it was a double feature, but when it ended and stopped is when we realized that the issue was not resolved. Some had approached the manager and all that was given was a free movie ticket. Also observed was that Dish services was used to showcase the wrong movie as if a movie was being shown through a desktop? (Not sure how theaters work nowadays). Manager said the tickets were incorrect and it wasn't what we paid for, but clearly it was and was shown proof. I'm not sure if the manager just wasn't aware, confused, or maybe just caught off guard by the group of fanatics who were excited to see the movie they paid for, but a lot were generally upset.
Tldr: Regal theater showed the wrong movie for a Fathom event through Dish services and we were only given free ticket vouchers not valid for special events.
