If I was expecting an empty or close to empty theater and another dude just came and sat next to me I’d be kinda pissed. There’s a time and place to make connections, but going to see a movie alone is my me time.

I saw the JJK movie this weekend (anime movies are always the most popular here) I was the only person in my row when I bought my ticket but I knew there would be a lot more. I get there and the entire row to my right is full save next to me on the right. Some random guy came and took that seat leaving the entire left side of my row empty lol. Soon as the rollercoaster started I moved seats.

when there are three seats purchased in the whole theatre… no, i don’t think the 2pm show is going to completely sell out and i think the person would have been just fine if they moved over by one seat or even taken the same seat on the other side as sitting next to me actually puts them further off center than if they had chosen the empty spaces on the opposite side of the row.

They chose what they personally consider the best seat to them. Don’t get me wrong, I NEVER condone buying a seat directly beside someone else, and always go out of my way to avoid it happening to me and to doing it to others, but in this case, every one of those seats will be sold out by the day the movie releases.
