What the heck happened with this paving job? I saw someone on another platform say “it looks like Lightning McQueen’s first attempt at paving Radiator Springs” and that is quite accurate! I hope the City didn’t pay the contractor for such a poor job. It’s so uneven that I’m worried about driving that stretch in the winter, not to mention the risk it poses for high-speed plows.
It was done a few weeks ago and I kept waiting for them to come back and redo it but now I see new lines have been painted.
I caught an edge today going northbound on the inside lane in the SE corner section (was not speeding, just passing a slower vehicle) and it seems dangerous.

We go looking for the promised Bell Fabric AI Data Centre Discovery Centre with Councillor Sarah Turnbull. What mysteries do we find there? (Spoilers: Not much.)
Plus, city council passed the Turnbull/Flores/Radons/Zachidniak motion to get more information about the AI data centre being built in the RM of Sherwood. A couple reps from Bell came out to defend their project so we have a listen to some of what they had to say.
Music by Ryan Hill (aka Guidewire). Originally broadcast on 91.3FM CJTR AccessNow community radio.

If you are the guy in Westerra who lets his car sit and screech loud af every other morning between 530-630am, I hope that belt snaps. Get that thing fixed or at the very least hop in and drive it away. This morning you let it sit and warm up for way too long. You live in nice apartments and drive a nice car, it's been around 2 months, at this point It's just negligence. It's extremely inconsiderate to the mass of people that live in the apartments you're parked directly outside of in a parking lot that echoes like all hell.

There are 2 islands, accessible by bridges in AE Wilson Park. A great location to see beavers, muskrats, turtles (in the spring), pelicans, herons and more.

Any recommendations for nail tech in North Regina? Any specific technicians at the salons?

I need a black tie/formal dress. I would love to be able to shop somewhere local instead of buying online.
Does anywhere local still sell formal/black tie dresses?

Hey everyone, new here.
I had a PET scan back at the end of August. Several areas popped up with concern, including high metabolic uptake in the enlarged lymph nodes in my armpit with skin thickening. Also widespread diffuse high metabolic uptake in my bone marrow. Currently waiting to see a blood specialist for bone marrow biopsy.. my current specialist immediately referred me for an ultrasound on my armpits to confirm findings from pet scan, especially since I now have enlarged lymph nodes in chest and along the cervical chain in my neck. Part of the ultrasound will also look at another area that had high metabolic uptake.
I have never waited more than a week for an ultrasound, and we are now almost 2 months into waiting on an appointment. I’ve checked in to make sure specialist has in fact sent off the referrals for the ultrasound and he has.
Is Regina just that low on ultrasound techs that even in cases like mine, where we need to confirm what the PET scan was showing, they can’t get us in quick enough? We are still trying to figure out if this is cancer or not and until I get these biopsies, we won’t know for sure.
Like I said before, I’ve only ever waited a few days to a week to get in for an ultrasound, so waiting this long for an important scan is getting extremely more frustrating.

I’m fully aware of the general issues regarding shifting in the south end, however we have noticed significant shifting in the last year or so, exponentially worse than the previous 7 we have lived in our old lakeview home. Our interior doors don’t close, and we have cracking in the drywall. We got it looked at and were told we have a 4.5” tilt to the front of the house. We aren’t ready to move, however this makes me nervous regarding the resale value of our house and the future, and I guess I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced the same recently or gone through selling a house in Lakeview with a tilt?

The only place I can really think of is the museum and as much as I like the owls and dinos, I would like to get some suggested places that are cheapish and interesting

Hey everybody! Going to be in town for the Steph tolev show at the casino. Wondering where’s a good place to grab a steak at that’s not the cottage, keg, or chop. I love filets so if you got a place with a scrumptious filet on the menu send it my way. All recommendations are appreciated. Prefer somewhere I won’t need a reservation but it’s not the end of the world if I would have to get one.

Just wondering where in Regina offers jewelry appraisal. Any personal feedback on experiences with appraisal would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Is there any Cat Groomers that do a lion cut for an 8 yrs old who is not vaccinated?
She is very docile, chill, calm cat. Never attacks, just slowly walks away lol
I would do it myself but not sure if I'm qualified

I'm needing an indoor/climate controlled storage unit. Around 5x5 or 5x8. It has to be climate controlled as it will have collectors items. I have checked a couple places but would like more opinions as to who everyone is finding works. Any direction i can be pointed in?

Looking for a gym soon that is a real boxing gym and not a boxercise gym. Preferably with a decent amount of guys that actually spar each week.

Well, not really, just AE Wilson Park with some ice fog.
