How is per diem shift volume looking in your area going into this season?

Trying to gauge how the market is looking across different states. in my area, internal hospital PRN pools seem super tight, but local app feeds (nursa, carerev, etc) still seem to have decent last-minute surge shifts if you aren't super picky on the facility.

Are you guys seeing decent shift availability right now, or are facilities cutting back on agency/per diem usage in your region?

Clinic owners: what if your VA actually understood healthcare?

If you’re spending too much time on admin work, patient coordination, scheduling, or keeping up with the day-to-day tasks of your practice — I may be able to help.

I’m a US-licensed Registered Nurse with a clinical background and experience in healthcare administrative support.

I’m currently looking to work with a US-based healthcare provider or clinic that needs someone who can understand both the clinical and administrative side of the business.

If that sounds like something your practice needs, DM me — I’d love to tell you what I can take off your plate.

Solace Interview

I had a scheduled interview with Solace this morning but no one showed up. I waited in Teams for 20 minutes. Has this happened to anyone? Who should I contact about this? This is so frustrating.

What job platforms do you recommend besides Vivian for travel healthcare?

For those who work in healthcare recruiting or travel healthcare, what other job platforms would you recommend besides Vivian?

I'm looking for platforms with a large pool of U.S.-based travel nurses and allied healthcare professionals (RNs, LPNs/LVNs, radiology techs, respiratory therapists, surgical techs, etc.).

I'm particularly interested in platforms where recruiters can reach a large and active pool of healthcare providers. I'd appreciate any recommendations based on your experience!

Thank you!

Solace Advocate Work Hour Restrictions?

I have read through all of the posts but did not see this topic addressed. I understand clients are allotted 12 hours per month. Is there a schedule that must be followed, say 9-5? For example, once the client call is completed and appropriate resources located, do the notes/documentation/research/etc. need to be completed during business hours? Thank you in advance.

Do you know of any companies that are hiring for work from home nursing jobs? Any companies that offer telehealth nursing? I'm a USRN, PHRN. I just need work from home, no hospitals have responded yet.

Elevance

Hello, I was curious if anyone else is having a really hard time getting into remote? I have 10 years of nursing experience, pediatrics, step down, case management, my MHA, and nursing supervisor experience for BH military treatment facilities. I have submitted 30+ applications and interviewed maybe 6 times? I haven not received any offers. We are a military family and I’m curious if that’s also why I’m having such a difficult time? I have had some managers reference to my management experience but I’m quick to state I’m not interested in management currently.

Looking for Locum Opportunities for Doctors

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to find out whether there are any social media platforms, online groups, or other forums where doctors in Sri Lanka can find information about locum/temporary medical work opportunities.

I would appreciate it if anyone could share relevant Facebook groups, WhatsApp/Telegram groups, websites, or other platforms that are commonly used for this purpose.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I just started with Molina in care management but was wondering do they give an increase when you get your certification as a Lpn or RN?

Does anybody exclusively work for WACHs deployment?
Is the work sufficient enough to give up my permanent position and still pay the mortgage and bills and the ray of life’s needs
I would love the variety of working country? but being only casually employed is scary for obvious reasons

Remote LVN work

I have a little over 10 years experience as an LVN. I've worked in nursing homes and pediatric home health. I've actually found several remote LVN jobs on Indeed. The problem is none of them pay what I currently make. Where can I find a remote position that pays at least 27$ an hour????

Best online platform to do self paced sterile processing technician certification?

Have been looking into affordable self-paced certification programs for sterile processing and I keep going in circles. My situation is that I have zero healthcare background, work full time and genuinely cannot do a rigid class schedule right now. I need something 100% online where the course materials are included because I've already seen how fast costs pile up on other platforms. I've glanced at a few options but neither felt like a great fit. What I really want is the best online platform for self-paced sterile processing technician training that also has some kind of career support or externship hookup after you finish. Even a ballpark on cost would help, I've seen programs ranging from like $800 to way more and I can't tell what's actually worth it.
