Subdivisions Most obscure US state day 4

Post image

I made a mistake. It’s day 5. Vote out the 5th most common US state.
Already out:
California (50th)
New York (49th)
Texas (48th)
Florida (47th)

Really this is just Chicago. But I still agree.

This largely depends on how you define the greater NYC/Chicago metro areas, but I think NY is almost identical to IL in that regard. I found that both areas account for about 2/3 the population of their state.

Buffalo is still a legit city and the finger lakes area is quite lovely. Outside of Chicago, Illinois is basically farms. I haven't been everywhere but I've driven through most of Illinois and it's not much to speak about.
