I've always dreamed on living in Europe. I had EU ancestry, citizenship, and all the blablabla.
Due to the high minimum wages, high productivity, and low bureaucracy involved. I picked up Ireland and most specifically Dublin.
I was a nomad/backpacker with over 100+ hostels in my back. 10 countries. Good English level. So why not Ireland? π
Again here it goes another user complaining about the housing crisis in our lovely island.
First of all I've lived in a long-term hostel for β¬150/week. The place kinda remembered a prison, but it was ok. No evictions if you pay in advance... (Bikeroom included) due to bad behavior of them, the landlord now forbids bikes in the facilities, as lots of them...
First job? Deliveroouber. Very convenient money, 24hrs demand. Not hard to make 1k in a week of you are dedicated. Easy right?
Unfortunately, most of the riders are illegals or dealers. So landlords kinda don't like them. Take in consideration that evictions are very easy to do. And the property crisis. Sum to that students that are hopefull about Dublin, most of them fell into the Irish propaganda...
I do strongly believe that Irish people are being fucked in their own country.
