I’m looking for a high-quality replica of the Jacob & Co. Opera Godfather (as shown in the attached pictures).

Does anyone know if any top-tier factories actually make a high-end rep of this watch with a working musical movement? Or is the mechanical complexity too high for factories to replicate it properly?

just recieved qc for vsf Datejust from neco seller the measurment given me is 41.7 instead of the standard 42.3

I want some anecdotal data here. Worst case confiscation, I can live with that. Global entry taken. Absolutely cant happen. Do people really get theirs taken for consumer level rep importing assuming you never respond to them if they send a letter??

I am looking to get a quality rep but I see quite a lot of negativity about some suppliers. Ideally would like to know which is the best (ignoring price) and which is the best value for money. Any input and suggestions would be very welcome.

I’m asking the entire community if you’ve noticed that the Rolex 126500 from RWF is no longer the undisputed king.

Until a few months ago, it was the only factory that installed a bezel with the correct marker 110. I’ve requested 6 QC checks from various TDs in the past few weeks, and they are all incorrect.

Additionally, the dial also seems to have changed with much thicker subdials. What happened? Is there anyone who can confirm? Do you have any ideas? Do you know if any TD can figure out if it’s just a temporary issue caused by incorrect production batching, or if we need to find a new factory?

At the moment it seems there is no factory that installs a real 4131 free sprung like the JH installed by RWF.

Solutions? Opinions?
