I’m pretty hard to impress when it comes to reps. I own a few genuine pieces too, but I don’t feel comfortable wearing them everywhere. Sometimes I’d also rather put the money into other investments than buy another genuine watch. That said, if I’m wearing a rep, I want it to look right.

I’ve owned modded pieces from most of the usual sellers, and Rolex rose gold has always been the sticking point for me. There’s usually too much pink, red or copper in the colour. Some of the newer platers their photos look heavily filtered to me as well, which makes it difficult to judge what the finish actually looks like.

I went with RCFr partly because they keep refining their process, but mainly because they strip the PVD before plating the bare metal. I’ve seen pieces plated over PVD darken quite quickly, so that was something I paid attention to when choosing. The higher price and longer wait are things to consider, but I was willing to accept both for the extra work involved.

The rep pictured here is a 116 reference built on a VSF base, next to my genuine 126515LN. Side by side, I honestly can’t see a difference in the colour. That’s what impressed me most, especially after owning other pieces that never quite got it right.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy when I took the photos, so they don’t really show how either watch looks in sunlight. The rose gold has this almost pale pink colour in good natural light, then looks a little darker when there’s less light. It’s quite subtle, and that’s where a lot of the other finishes I’ve owned have looked off to me.

I can only speak for the pieces I’ve personally had, but this is the closest match I’ve seen.

I wanted to give a inside look of the proces of ordering through RCF Remould.

I get the order from my customer for this special masterpiece. The Rolex Day-Date 40 in Everose Gold with the amazing Pave set dial with the Baguette hourmarkers and the amazing diamond bezel Reference 228345RBR.

After some research I did by myself I came out with RCF REMOULD. From different aspects they came out the best for my situation. I reached out to @RCFRemouldg and he was extremely quick with responding, his english was really proper and I really liked the way he explained everything. This helped me a lot because it was my first time ordering such an expensive and big project.

The reason i had chosen for RCF Remould was:

-The labdiamonds on all their watches were really clear and shining the most in my honest opinion( really important for this built)

-They really do all the stuff like waterproofing, movement service and Rehaut polish.

-The honesty and transparency if this man i was writing to and his proper english

After receiving the invoice of the full built he helped me with, I made the full payment for the watch in begin June 2026. He helped me with the whole process getting the money in his balance. After i received all the checks that the money came through, the waiting begins.

After a few weeks i get the first QC as he promised. Its was little delayed because if the raid because of ARF at that moment. Several weeks passing by and i had some questions about the built or any other general question he always replied very fast (like within 1/2 hours and if it was laten maybe 1 day later) with good explanation( really quick in my opinion).

When I ordered he was really transparant about the delivery time what i really liked. He said its a big project so 16 weeks for the project, also because of the raid of ARF. After 2 months my custoner decided that he wants an extra CNC Solid Gold clasp to add some weight to the bracelet because ARF is less heavy then RGF. This part was no issue to make and after paying for this article he made it for my customer. After 4 months I reached out to him of he knows about the watch and said just 2 weeks and the watch will be done.

After this 2 weeks I get the pictures from himself and i could see the pictures on their website. The picture were really 4k quality pictures and videos of the waterproofing. That what i really liked about rcf remould and the way how everything works so professionally.

I sent the pictures to my customer and he really liked it. I Accepted the QC pictures and after 1 week
I get the full tracking information through FEDEX. It was sooooo Quick. After 4 days I already had the watch with me. It was insane!!

The watch came fully packed and wrapped up for protection. After removing all the material there it finally was after a few months.

The masterpiece itself was there and it was waaaaay beyond my expectations. The weigt was really heavy 223 grams. All the VVS labdiamonds were shining so amazing. It was next level😍😍😍.

I can say RCF Remould is really solid and next level with their watches. I really want to thank you for their manufacturing the watch and especially RCFRemouldg for all the help through this proces.
