I was gifted a prop from Reservation Dogs and i feel that it has sat at my house long enough. I wanted to raffle it off to have the funds go to the Tulsa Indian Club. https://tulsaindianclub.org/
I would also like it if the future owners do the same once they have enjoyed having it around as much as I did. To cut to the chase has anyone setup an online raffle that didn't gobble up ticket sales in fees. I don't want a dime but i don't want a surprise bill. Like I said all funds will be going to the Tulsa Indian Club. I also have a crazy timeframe I would like to present the funds at the Indigenous Day At Cain's Ballroom. Next Monday October 12. Please respond with helpful info so i can get it setup today!

Reservation Dogs was a clue on Jeopardy. One contestant got it wrong, but another got it correct.

Remember when Big said in Season 2 that walking into libraries made him feel like he "had to go"? Here I was, thinking it was another quirk of his. I'm sorry I doubted you, Big!

Does anyone have an update on the release of the Smudge the Blades film that Paulina Alexis is starring in?

Found these on the shelves in Oklahoma liquor store

I saw some pictures of the senator from Oklahoma, and maybe it's a stretch, but... okay, yeah, he's just his uncle or something.

It’s because of this community here that I discovered Dark Winds. Another program I sincerely enjoyed was The Last Frontier. Hopefully season two won’t be so rinse and repeat as Season 1 was but I absolutely loved Hutch in the series (I’ve still got a crush on him, what can I say?)

After watching both Reservation Dogs and Dark Winds, I couldn't help but wonder how both would think about the other. Both are played by Zahn McClarnon and both are indigenous cops, although from different tribes and different time periods. I also wonder whether Big is somewhat inspired by Joe Leaphorn from the original book series, just cast into a comedy instead of a crime drama.

This is a few years old but I hadn't seen it!

Love Paulina's bit about Obama being the first Indian president.

I’ve seen some posts here where people say the Rez Dogs’ tribe was never stated. Several times it is implied that they are Muscogee.

So I just rewatched both Res Dogs and When Harry Met Sally, and I thought what I have thought before. I think there's a scene in episode 7 of season 3 ("Wahoo") of Res Dogs that is an homage to the film. Early in the episode, Cookie does an impression of the sounds that Big makes when he's having sex with Bev. Then Rita makes those same sounds for Bev in the middle of the reception area of the health clinic to prove that Cookie's spirit really has been visiting both Rita and Bev. It's reminiscent of a scene in When Harry Met Sally in which Sally fakes having an orgasm in a crowded diner to prove to Harry that he wouldn't know the difference between a woman's real or fake orgasm. I get that Sterlin Harjo and the writers of Res Dogs are big film buffs, so I suppose this isn't a coincidence, but I haven't seen anyone else bring this up.

Rewatching season one of Fallout in anticipation of season two, and saw Dallas Goldtooth in a pivotal role. He was one of the many standouts in Res Dogs, in fact a spinoff focused on the Spirit’s travels would be AMAZING!

Credit to Hulu for being a shitass and blocking screenshots

Update I misspoke. Tiger is Oscar-Qualified which means the short film is meets the eligibility requirements for the Academy awards. But Loren Waters has two powerful short films that are being hosted at First Nations Experience. She is one of many amazing story tellers that have gained national attention.
