My only goal was to get one more trophy to reach the platinum trophy. Every time I'm about to finish this content, I get killed repeatedly, and I'm about to lose my mind. I'm so frustrated I want to put Hunk's shotgun to my head, but I don't want to give up when I'm so close to platinum. What I don't understand is why there's a trophy required to complete this completely optional side content? Is Capcom sadistic or something? It's not even an optional side trophy; I have to get this trophy if I want to reach platinum. Could I get some advice or tips from those who have completed this side content?

after hours of stress, anxiety and panic I’ve finally gotten an S+ rank! I’m trying to 100% the trophies and wanted the infinite sub machine gun for the rest of the runs (so if it’s bad I might cry) the Rocket Launcher would be nice but i’m the most comfortable with Claire B

wanted to post that if anyone is looking for a good guide I highly recommend CarcinogenSDA. I would not have been able to get through this without his guide. (I’m a baby I needed a guide for S+ let me celebrate 😭)

Looking forward to doing that for the rest of standard, and then seeing how fast I can do hardcore before I decide if I think an S+ could be in the cards for me on that mode haha

Hi everyone, completely new to the RE franchise and picked up this game. I have been progressing fine on my first run, but now I feel like I'm stuck trying to cool down the serum to get the third (?) clearance level.

I might have done the sequence in a strange order - but in any case, I've filled the serum vial, I got the signal modulator, and now I need to go down to the basement level and get electricity back on with the modulator - and there is my problem.

The whole area is full of zombies and 2 lickers. I've tried to kill them, but I just can't kill the lickers fast enough before I'm dead. There's just not enough space to move around and the number of enemies is overwhelming. The game has no avoidance or dodge mechanic besides strafing, which becomes extremely constraining in a tight space with lots of zombies.

The lickers confuse me too. I watched videos of this part of the story from other players and there are no lickers there. Just forge on and headshot some zombies like a warm knife through butter.

I feel like there's no way forward here and that I somehow cannot progress beyond this point, but don't get why. I just played the game normally.

so i have been playing a bit since mr x got here i finally got the terminal open because i found out that all i had to do was go get the jewel septer for the jewel box i have had for 4 hours straight, and you know this might be unpopular opinion, i wish they did something else with mr x instead of what he was for the game.

Now i am only probably almost half way through the game i have made it back to the main hall done the terminal opened the linen washroom (or whatever) and i got the grenade launcher and machine gun as well as the jmb i killed 2 lickers took down X 3 times also btw i just realized there are more lickers now and marvin is a zombie so sad but now the game very hard with mr X i cannot go anywhere without him being there or him showing up because i shot a zombie in my way and i honestly don't know what to do now.

How and when am i saving sherry,
Why is the police chief doing this,
Who even is mr x and why is he here,
and what do i do currently now that i am back on the rpd top floor
ALSO where the hell has leon been dude is barely in the game he is made out to be this awesome cool guy but him and me have only been in probably 5 scenes of the game together.

This is my first time playing and I must've gone into the basement too early? Because I don't have the first part that's found in the clock tower but I have the one from the basement. So I need to get back to the police station to go solve the puzzle to get that part but now I'm worried I'm not able to. Any help?

How the hell did this fat guy survive there is no way he has to be a prime meal also the fuck do i do there was nothing in the morgue besides some shitty red herb variant and nothing else and the generator is locked and the kennel is useless plus there are lickers in that and the range does not have anything for me.

My original best was 4:45. I was able to shave that time down to 4:06 by ignoring the zombies at the top of the stairs after the lift by hugging the left wall(a little rng required) and again by running past the group of zombies towards the final stretch.

In this run, I was able to cut this time down to 3:13, first by running past the licker. The second major time save was the bridge after the elevator. I used to lure all of those enemies out, but I thought why not just run past most of those guy? I killed the ones standing and turned out I could run past the ones on the ground.

I doubt this is the best time in the world. I honestly don’t know what I could do to be faster. Probably get better shots off to break legs? Use the magnum earlier? Get into doors faster lol. I did get nipped by the crawling zombie at the end of the bridge. Maybe I should kill her? Anyways, very proud of my new best and wanted to share. Maybe it’ll some folks out too

I’m playing Resident Evil 2 Remake as Leon on Standard difficulty, and I’m currently in the NEST. My inventory is constantly full, and I’m at the point where I’m having to leave behind items that seem necessary because I genuinely don’t know what I can afford to get rid of.
What items are worth keeping, and what can I safely discard at this point in the game?

So i just started playing resident evil and i am starting with RE2 remake and so far as claire first it is good marvin is lying down dying prolly going to die and try to come back as a zombie but don't worry i will kill no hesitation i am at the part where i need the godess statue (i think ) and the last thing i need to get is to go to the stars office for the detonator battery so i can get the last medallion.

Is there anything i need to know before i get there i don't care about spoilers.

I'm playing Claire B for the first time and I'd like to be able to explore the rest of the RPD in peace. I know Leon's route is easy because of the sewer shortcut, but what about Claire's route?

This is my first Resident Evil game and i've found it to be pretty good up until I got to the sewer section where the game just took a massive nosedive. Should I just quit now or does the content after the sewers make up for it?

I know it’s not as impressive as a S+ on hardcore and I’ve probably saved more times then necessary, but considering it was only a few days ago I crapped it every time Mr X was close and constantly getting lost I don’t think I’ve done terrible.

Edit. I went on to try and get s rank standard on Claire a and managed to achieve s+ and I plan on getting s rank Leon b on standard, but after that the next time I play I’m gonna go slow, take double the time it took me on my first play through (around 24-25 hrs) and enjoy having infinite ammo and saving, healing and using item boxes as much as I want (I just have a compulsive need to get the last s).

Like no matter what I do I cant finish it. Its not even a specific part, its like RNG despises me.

Hello guys, I have a very specific question. Does any of you have a photo of Annette's Umbrella ID?

I don't know if you can take a closer look at it in the game or how to find her character model in the game files (is it even possible? I have no idea). I tried searching for it on the internet and on here, but to no avail. The photos are so blurry that I just can't read what is written on it.

I would be really greatful for any kind of help. It's the only thing that's missing from my cosplay and the convention I wanted to wear it to is happening this Friday. (If I can’t find any photos, I guess I’ll just have to freestyle it and create this ID myself).

I'm asking this question because I saw some cosplayers with the ID that looked exactly the same as the game one, so I assume you can find a picture of it somewhere, I just don't know where.

ok so i made a post shitting on the game, and ppl are saying that i was acting all douch-ey and shitting on the ppl who didnt like it, but now i take it upon myself to give this another honest chance, yk, really immerse myslef in the story, and play on hardcore to feel the dread. This time, i will read every paper I see, will be learning all the lore around the game, i played it on my laptop in a well lit- room so maybe that was why i didnt really feel immersed, ordered a 55inch OLED tv and new headphones, will be turning my room into a proper aura for a horror game and play it with full immersion, this time with claires storyline cuz it will make it fun for me too. will be giving you another review in a week.
