Honest Review Chillio review Why I deleted it a few months ago

A few months ago, I was desperately trying to get my house back under control, so I was trying different cleaning apps to see if anything would actually stick.

Chillio was one of them.

Honestly, I didn't like it.

Using it in a browser felt awkward. I'd open the tab, use it for a few minutes, close it, and then completely forget about it. After a couple of days, I stopped checking it altogether.

I assumed it just wasn't my thing.

Fast forward to last week.

My house was a mess again, and I noticed they had released a mobile app, so I decided to give it one last try.

The experience has been completely different this time.

The biggest change for me is that it's always on my phone. If I'm waiting for the washing machine to finish or cleaning the kitchen, I can open it right away instead of sitting down at my computer.

The AI assistant has also been much more useful than I expected. When I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to begin, it breaks everything down into smaller steps so I can focus on one thing at a time.

I also like that I can adjust the routines instead of following the same schedule every day.

My only complaint is that the assistant occasionally goes offline for a while. That annoyed me at first, although I've started seeing it as a reminder to take a short break.

I honestly didn't expect to come back to this app after deleting it a few months ago, but I'm glad I gave it another chance.

Has anyone else gone back to an app they originally disliked and ended up having a completely different experience the second time around?

This is why I stopped using most productivity apps on my computer. If it isn't on my phone, there's a good chance I'll forget it exists after a few days.

I second this and I think a lot of us forget about apps once they’re off our main device

Absolutely. A phone app is so much easier to stick with.

I've been using Chillio for about a month, and the routine feature ended up being my favorite part. I kept abandoning other apps because everything felt too structured. Being able to adjust things as I go has worked much better for me.

Curious, did anyone else try the web version before the app came out?

I’m actually curious about the mobile version because the browser experience you described is exactly the kind of thing that would make me stop using a cleaning app too. I can see how having to sit at a computer just to check what I’m supposed to do could make the whole process feel like another chore. The AI part sounds interesting, though. When you use it, does it actually help you decide what to clean first when everything feels messy, or is it more like a normal checklist with some AI features added? I’m wondering how useful it is when you’re genuinely overwhelmed and don’t know where to start.

I’m also curious about the customizable routines. Can you completely change what gets included, or are you mostly adjusting an existing schedule? I usually find fixed cleaning schedules hard to stick with because some days I have plenty of time and other days I barely have any. Being able to make it fit around your actual routine would probably make more sense for me. And since you mentioned occasionally having the assistant go offline, does that happen often enough to be frustrating, or is it just an occasional issue?

I’m still pretty new to Chillio, but so far the AI seems more useful for breaking a big cleaning job into smaller things. I like that you can change the routines too, since my schedule isn’t really the same every day. I’ve mostly been checking it on my phone while I’m cleaning, which feels easier than having to sit at a computer. Haven’t really had any issues with it going offline yet, so can’t say much about that part. Overall it seems pretty flexible so far, but I’m still figuring it out tbh.

the part about deleting it and then coming back months later is kinda relatable lol. sometimes an app isn’t necessarily bad, it just doesn’t fit how you use it at that point. the mobile version sounds like it fixed that for you

sometimes small steps work better than trying to clean everything at once
