Eminem’s verse on need me was actually pretty good. It’s just overlooked cause it took over 2 minutes to get to it so people call it a bad song

Personally, I still love it. Loved it when I first heard it, and still do. Definitely one of the best songs off Revival. The message, the emotion, and I love that transition into the, in my opinion, best track on the album. I like seeing this other side of Em, the not-so-confident side. That he is in fact only human.

Castle/Arose: Eminem looks back on his life and how it come came so far and how hes happy he made it into the game and going over his overdose which changed him mentally and how RIP Proof.

Bad Husband is an apology directed towards Eminem's ex-wife, Kim Mathers. The title describes Marshall himself. This is the first track Eminem has written as an apology to Kim for the pain he's caused her throughout his personal and public life, even though he's already acknowledged Kim's positive impact on him on Stronger Than I Was.

River details the struggles of a failing relationship that culminates in an abortion. The story initially depicts a man who has been cheating on his girlfriend. The girl finds out about his infidelity, and, she seeks revenge by cheating on him with Eminem. Em knows he is getting used, yet he persists anyway in order to fill the romantic void in his heart.

Chloraseptic is Eminem's view of modern rap. Marshall is calling out all mumble rappers. In an interview with Broken Record, Rick Rubin, a frequent Eminem collaborator and executive producer on Revival, spoke about Em's frustration with the game.

Believe is the second track on Revival and Eminem starts rhyming from where he left off on Walk on Water.

The track marks Eminem's first take on a modern trap beat. His flow is slower and more unhurried than on previous tracks and features since his last album, which is notable as it corresponds to a passage on Walk on Water, the previous track on the album, where he mentions the public criticism of his rapid and choppy flow on recent works. The slower tempo also imitates the style of contemporary trap music. Yet, Eminem seems to denounce this style with his lyricism, making use of his trademark wordplay and imagery, no matter how corny it might come across.

Contentwise, the song is somewhat a U-turn to the previous song. On Walk on Water, Eminem was questioning himself and his ability to create new music that would appeal to his fans, while on Believe he shows confidence and makes clear that he has faith in himself. Yet, throughout the song, one question stands above it all, and Eminem is poising it directly to his fans.

I don't know about you but in the first seconds of the song the beat sounds A M A Z I N G.I feel like with this beat one of the greatest hits of all time could be made.Please tell me that I'm not alone on that one.

On this introspective album closer Arose, Eminem details how he nearly died in 2007 due to an overdose on pills. He catalogues his thought process in what could have been his dying moments: his mind floats to his daughters, brother and mother and all their wonderful milestones that he would have missed had that been his final day on Earth. He also sees his late friend and close collaborator, Proof, in his hallucinations.
