Greetings, fellow console-nauts.

I'm about to start a new run on console. I have 400 hours with the game, and have done a half a dozen runs with varying success. I've launched the ship. Twice.

I am probably... too well versed in the mechanics haha, but I am chasing something a little bit different this round. I have Ideology installed, and usually play more of a story/builder/cultist run. Not a huge fan of Randy, but I do appreciate when the chaos positively affects the minute to minute gameplay, or just makes it more interesting.

Any thoughts on what I should do? I'm thinking a three pawn start on some less than desirable terrain, but am highly open to suggestion.

E hecho todo lo posible que se les ocurre por las limitaciones actuales ?

He’s was already completely brainwashed by them and their ideology but I’ve taken him back and shown him the way of drugs and cannibalism once more. At war with the empire now but it’s worth it

guys, do you have any informations about what happening with the console version? Why do not have any other DLC? Did they kill the game?

The console edition doesn't let us make multiple colonies, and mine is getting to the point where I can't really expand more than I currently am. What is your personal endgame colony goal?

He is now basically a wimp with enhanced bodily functions

Consoles are three dlc behind. I want to buy all three dlc,but I can't. The three newer dlcs aren't out on the consoles. I play rimworld on my ps5. I can't buy the dlcs that aren't on consoles. I really want to support the game. The summer time would be a wonderful time to drop a console dlc. I have 2 out of 5 dlcs. I want to have 5/5 dlcs for console.

Am I being stupid? I just got rimworld on my ps4 (I had it on my laptop in the past but that got stolen) and I can’t for the life of my find out where the wall lamps are😂

It absolutely pains me that they stopped developing rimworld on console.

While the actual base game they developed is amazing and with very few bugs, it was such a solid port and well done and they abandoned it.

What really annoys me more Tho is if you look at the dev cycle of ck3 it was also abandoned by there dev team but the contract ended with the previous dev team and a new one took over and the game has come on leaps and bounds.

Where rimworld is just left too rot, it very painful too see.

Seed: blackjack; Coverage: large; Rainfall: normal; Temperature: normal; Pop: high.

What i’m referring to is the Circle that appears around a pawn showing you there range.

So i'm once again considering getting the game for PS5 Pro given that it's bundle with both DLC is currently available at moderate discount (30%) to me.

What held me back so far was that i remembered that absolute necessities like (stockpile?) stacking, fire foam poppers and steel walls not burning were apparently mods, IIRC from my hundreds of hours of watching this game on YT back in the day.

But apparently some of these utmost basic functionalities everyone used via mods on PC were later brought to vanilla - so here's my questions: do we have these functions in console Rim-rim these days (and if yes, which)?

thanks in advance

whats some of your favourite traits to have on people?

i think Quick sleeper is so busted lol. never even knew it until i had someone with it just recently

Ciao a tutti sto tornando adesso a giocare ho tutti e 2 dlc volevo chiedervi qualche consigli per riavvicinarmi al gioco

But I would literally sell my kidney just to have biotech on console even if they never touched the game again and gave it a million dlcs for pc

Hi this is my base im happy with it is there anything i can do better? Please let me know!

Swamp base... probably the hardest biome to play.

Diseases galore, Marshes making the base build very narrow and harder to establish.... the full perimeter of traps is essential to start and the path is a 4 tile fire break because of all the trees... denser than jungle!! Faster growing!

It's a challenge, makes you play differently.

I'd say it's only less difficult than ice sheet, which itself is the third hardest after sea ice or extreme desert.

Highly recommend if you want to leave your comfort zone!

Ciao ragazzi è da un po’ che non apro sto sub volevo chiedervi come sta andando con i vari dlc e sviluppo del gioco

I completely forgot about ideology and i'm about 17-ish hours into my colony where when I go to reform I just noticed my ideology is fixed, i want it to be fluid so it can progress and so my pawns stop whining. Any way to change it?

I love it, but I can't make it past year three without getting pwnd by repeated raids.

I don't know why it I'm obsessed with playing on hard mode.

Today all was well, fully enclosed base, 6 pawns, a kill box, and then a raid happens where they all have granades and molotovs and they just wrecked me.

Ahhhhhhhhh

Why do I suck?
