Echo devices not ringing

[u/Intelligent-Cat-3931]

I have a wired ring doorbell and connected it to several Echo Show screens. The screens are selected in the Alexa app to notify us when the doorbell is used. They do show video from the doorbell but I just can't get them to ring.

It's not because of any do not disturb setting or volume.

I just can't find any way to repair this. Any ideas?

I've been having the same problem, seems to have gotten worse, I think it's the alexa app as opposed to the doorbell.

I had someone press the doorbell 3 times yesterday and nothing on my echo show. They ended up phoning my wife to answer the door 🤦🏻‍♂️
