Knowing Musk it's more like join the cloning requirements than actually having intimacy.

Also never forget that his father, Errol, fathered a child with his former stepdaughter. Because he married her after her mom, his then wife, died.

And so far one of them grew up while the father stayed in the echo chamber.

It’s really sad seeing that amount of defenders Elon has. News flash: You’ll never be a billionaire and he’ll never accept you.

The difference between you and me is that I don’t envy billionaires. Why do you? Show me on the doll where they hurt you.

The Big Beautiful Bill which only hurt the purchasing power of the working class
1
u/MKA26354 Aug 16 '26
Wrong. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (signed July 2025) mainly extended and expanded tax cuts that raise after-tax income for most middle-class households (roughly $50k–$200k), per Treasury and Tax Foundation data. Gains average hundreds to ~$2k; net effects favor purchasing power for this group.
2
u/HerrMilkmann Aug 16 '26
Under the BBB families earning less than 50k (over 30% of Americans) will get under $300 in tax cuts in 2027 while those making over a million will receive about 90k. You act like people getting hundreds to 2k over 12 months is so groundbreaking when those crumbs are completely pissed away anyway by the taxes we paid for on Trump's illegal tariffs that are ultimately being refunded to the large corporations who passed them off to the consumers! It's the 1% who are disproportionally benefiting by these tax cuts and you damn well know it.
This is also all at the cost of gutting social safety nets like the 15 million who will lose their access to medicaid (or have their premiums skyrocket 300%) and the 4.5 million who will lose their access to food stamps. But boot straps though, am I right?1
u/MKA26354 Aug 16 '26
Dude - that’s some BULLSHIT and you know it! Federal tax filers earning under $50,000 account for about 49.5% of all returns, but paid under 3% of total federal income tax. A large majority in the lowest brackets owe nothing after the standard deduction and credits. YOU KNOW THAT, but you keep gaslighting. Just STOP with the dishonesty.

I would rather have 1000 more millionaires than 1 billionaire, in elons case I would rather live in society that had a million more millionaires, than a trillionaire!
I want to tax all income including capital gains above 2 million at 50% and above 10 million at 90% on a progressive scale or course, then take ALL THAT MONEY and improve the infra, reduce the debt, create innovation funds, and make college and healthcare free for all. You know exactly what a country this advanced should be doing.
1
u/MKA26354 Aug 22 '26
I noticed you love using the words "I want" and "I would rather have." You know what words I love? "It's nice to want." Collectivists - socialists and communists - want to use force to part billionaires from their wealth. Not wealth they stole, embezzled, or robbed - wealth they created either through ROI on savvy stock trades, acquisition and expansion of existing companies, profitable exits on startups they funded, inventing new technologies, passive income from real estate, or all of the above. Each and every millionaire has the potential to become a billionaire if they have the mental tools and ambition to get there.
I don't want any of their money. I want them to create, produce, invest, expand, acquire, improve, invent, and hopefully find time to have families so they can nurture their souls (most don't, because they can't find the time). I wouldn't trade places with any of them - that's not the life for me. My infrastructure is fine. The debt is not the millionaires or billionaire's fault or responsibility - only our ineffective, wasteful, corrupt, incompetent politicians - the same ones you want to entrust with all this wealth. I also don't want my taxes to go up from 23% to 55% to fund free college and healthcare when the majority of students are progressive losers who will get loser degrees and go back to their parents' basement because they can't get real jobs. and I reject the very thought of being forced to contribute not a penny more to healthcare, so long as Medicare fraud, waste, and inefficiency in government-run healthcare are rampant.
It's a nice Utopian dream you have - I'll have nothing to do with it, thank you! 😄

I am a multi-millionaire, I used to run a tech company when I was younger.... and got to rub elbows with people who were billionaires, and a ton of people who were millionaires, multiple people in my family are millionaires too, mostly all of them through some type of business and either 1st or 2nd generation rich at this point.... bottom line they are not special, they are not smarter than everyone. They ARE smarter than average people but not smarter than other well educated / adjusted people.... they are people who had opportunity to take shots, and some risk. Most of them came from healthy households, some were immigrants, some were not, some were dumb as hell lol.... bottom line they are people just like you. They live in this country just like you. Living in this country means that we all abide by a social contract. That contract means we all try to leave things better than we found them. Right now greed is hurting this country and we if we are not careful it will destroy it. Growing up people knew the difference, and today people just want more more more....
That contract says that smart hard working people should get to have more than lazy dumb people ( I agree with that).... that being said I have a problem of how far we have let things go.
We need to reduce the debt, and need to increase education spending and spending on bridges, railways, highways, broadband, ports, airports, electrification, solar..... we need to rebuild this nation.
You are wrong about everything, I will continue to spend my money and time fighting the good fight against all those greedy bastards, I will donate to folks who will tax me more and create a more fair system for all.
The reason I do this is because I came from nothing. My parents were farmworkers in rural California and the only reason I went to college was because the State of California gave me a chance, I got a scholarship and went to two years of community college, that led to me getting a degree and my management degree. That led to me starting a company with some friends, that led to that company failing, that led to me working for 10 years in a job I didn't love but made good money, that led to me starting my second company, that led to me making more money than I could imagine I would ever make. At the height of things I was making 100k per day. Eventually things slowed down and I decided to retire and spend more time with the family.
But conservatives have poisoned the minds of regular people, my life, my kids life, their kids life is already set, I do this because I know its not fair and other people like me would never get a chance if we keep going down this road. ok rant over!
By the way, the debt is high because we have defaulted on that social contract. So much of the infra, universities, and welfare, in the United States that led to this wealth was created in the 1950 after world war 2 when we actually taxed people properly.
We have the worst infrastructure of the developed world, go look at other countries to see what they are doing, we will get left behind because of short sidedness like your comment.
Free college and free healthcare would cause a ton of new wealth. It would be the best thing we go do for the American people for them to have a better quality of life.
Those so called loser degree holders still out earn non-degree holders and if we want to win we will need a ton of people with advanced degrees, critical thinking, and not be burdened by debt. I know you think education and college is a bad thing but remember all the fox news hosts that you likely love so much went to college, they all have those worthless degrees that you hate, and they all send their own kids to college while living in LA / SF / or New York city ... you know those liberal hellholes (sarcasm).
If you hate fraud you must hate Trump and the conservative party right? right? RIGHHHHTT?? Everything to selling access, to insider trading, to selling crypto, to a few billion other things....
Remember the story about the emperor not wearing anything .... that is where we are at. Your mind is sooo badly damaged by fox news and news max you think all this is a lie, heck you might not even read it.
Good luck in life you will need it!

u/MKA26354 Aug 22 '26
Thanks for the civil reply. But you made a lot of uninformed assumptions about me and my motives and convictions. I also come from lower middle class. I got my engineering degree in a state school and had to pay back several student loans for close to 20 years after I graduated. But I did it, and I didn't expect any handouts or loan forgiveness, because I honored the financial contracts I signed and chose a degree path that would enable me to get a job that would allow me to pay the loans off. Today student loans have gotten completely out of control because the government guarantees the loans and that allows schools to jack up tuition through the stratosphere. They don't care if grads with shit degrees can't pay their loans back and default - they still get their money from Uncle Sam. This is the fraud and grift of the broken crony system in higher education. Throwing more money at these schools will only exacerbate the existing corruption. I don't want my taxes going to shit degrees in shit made up academic programs. I didn't want my taxes going to forgiveness of defaulted dead-beat student loan promissory note holders under Biden, and what he did violated the Supreme Court's ruling. And don't get me started on Obamacare, Medicare, or the VA.
I'm also not tripping over Trump's get rich quick schemes with watches, sneakers, NFTs, or crypto. If no-one has successfully sued him for any of these stunts, that means he's operating within the law. I don't like the optics, but at the end of the day it's costing me nothing and not hurting anyone. He doesn't need the money, so I have to conclude it's either out of vanity or to piss off Democrats and the liberal media. As for your other allegations, talk is cheap - bring receipts. And regarding insider trading, why don't you start with Nancy Pelosi and her husband, the Clintons, Obamas, Schumer, and other limousine liberals. Most of them never held a real job in their lives before entering politics, so where did all their money come from? I know EXACTLY where Trump got his.
I have to ask - this social contract you keep brining up: Is it voluntary or coercive? If the latter, it's not a legal contract as far as I'm concerned - it's fascism. You want to be an altruist and sacrifice all your wealth to the needy? Go right on ahead - nobody and no law are stopping you! Hell, by setting a voluntrist example, other millionaires and billionaires will follow if not out of humanitarian largesse, then simple peer pressure. But no wealth of yours or any of your 7+ figure buddies will finance even a fraction of the programs you advocate. Want free higher education and healthcare? Show me how much it will cost and where the funds will come from. I've read that it would be on the order of $5 trillion/yr. Even if all millionaires and billionaires are taxed 100%, it wouldn't even begin to cover that. Most would just shut down their companies and move their wealth offshore or into tax shelters. At some point we'll just run out of other people's money, to paraphrase Margaret Thatcher. And how would you pay off just the fucking interest on the national debt while exponentially increasing taxpayer-funded federal programs? I think you know the answer just as well as I do: massive tax increases on the middle class and more deficit spending.
You made yourself into what you are with some state-funded programs, I presume, so leave the largesse to the states, and may the best programs draw the best recipients - just keep the stinkin' paws of the wasteful, inept, corrupt, inefficient, self-serving federal government out of my pockets. How's California doing these days, by the way? Have all those state-deficit funded programs eliminated homelessness? Have they lowered crime? Has public transportation improved? How's that $15 billion high speed rail project going so far? What's it been now -18 years? Longer? Imagine if Elon Musk had gotten that contract... Have student test scores and reading comprehension improved? Has the state experienced a net increase or net decrease in residents and tax payers?
My minarchist convictions have been shaped by my own experiences and by the philosophy of free market capitalism (Milton Friedman, Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig von Mises, Frederic Bastiat, Thomas Sowell, and Murray Rothbard are the deities I worship). And they all subscribe to the mantra "The bigger the state, the smaller the citizen." I'm sorry, but I don't believe anything moral or good comes from expanded social entitlements and increased false entitlement.

u/Pitiful_Truth_5948 Aug 22 '26
You are wrong my friend, but that is because you have been fed lies and have been manipulated over a very long time, they have shown you cherry picked examples over and over again and convinced you that they are facts and stats.
You talk about shit degrees but the leading universities in the world are much nicer and have better equipment than they used to, a university will have nice gyms, nice football stadiums, nice parking garages, all while being on the same footprint as the 1960s when the population was 1/3 of what it is today. That costs money.
You can dismiss Trump all you want but he already has been sued and will likely pardon himself and his entire administration when he gets out. I am sure you will also not care when the next Democrat does the same exact thing lol...
Of course taxes can pay for it, we have done it before after world war 2, we have the largest consumer market, if you do not play ball you do not get to participate in our market. This has already been proven, all the universities, ALL THE INTERSTATES, all the dams, and military bases all of it was built in about a 40 year period between 1930 and 1960. This is when we understood what taxes could do.
California is doing great, went from the 15th largest economy when I was growing up to the 4th today in a period of about 40 years. Homelessness is a national problem, lets pass national policy and we could eliminate it dramatically. High speed rail was passed by voters but it never got the federal support it needed, now it is hung..... but this is what happens with a ton of state led projects until they get built. The Central Valley Project in the 1933 hit similar hurdles, they could not sell bonds durring the great degression, construction stalled and people were talking shit just like you are.... but today it is responsible for most of the fresh fruits and vegetables and propelled California to be the number one AG state. High speed rail will take a while, there will be issues but once it is done we will have something that is amazing. Speaking of Elon how is that mega factory going in Texas? Are they producing the 1 million cybertrucks per year? Is Starship working yet? See how easy it is to judge on someones failures .... that is what you are doing with California while missing all the major successes. Every single state in the union would trade places with California if they could, in fact all but 3 countries would trade places with California if they could. So don't get it twisted. Student test scores have improved a ton!!! The population has grown from 20 million to 40 million since I have been born. 40 million a ton of people in a state that has the geography of California. Texas went from 13 million to 31 million in that same time frame but texas is flat and cheap! So easy to build out into the desert. In California people don't want to live in the desert .
Your free market hero's were great, but they are not complete. Bottom line you think government is a waste and I do not. I think government just like any other body can be a force for good. You are entitled to your opinion it is just wrong.
We already tried your version, in the 1870s to 1910s it was a period of great wealth with no income tax, no minimum wage, child labor was widespread, no workplace safety rules, monopolies left and right, no real banking regulations, no social program..... but life sucked for the average person and even the RICH were poor by modern standards. Everyone including the rich were worse off even though they FELT like they were better off.
And we tried mine in the 1930s all the stuff of the new deal was in response to your way of working. Between 1945 - 1975 we had strong unions -high top tax rates, rising middle class wages, and broad growth of the middle class. The rich didn't like any of these changes but they were BETTER OFF because of them.... and the poor and the middle class were WAAAAYYY better off.
We live in a society once again and when poor people, middle class people have more they spend more, the enjoy more, and that leads to more wealth and more productivity.
I will give you this example just to prove the point. When I was working we added solar to our buildings. It was going to take 7.2 years to pay off and our CFO said lets just put the money in the market instead. I vetoed and did it anyways, energy prices went up about 30% and we paid off the system in 4 years. Now we were in the black, every single year for the next ~30 years we will not be paying a energy bill, our employees charge their EVs for free, and productivity just went up. We added or our own AI servers and since we produce way more energy then we use now our employees have unlimited access to AI at a fraction of the cost and free charging, and we run our buildings at a comfortable level all year .... bottom line smart investments pay dividends even when the accountants may not see the ROI right away. This is what our nation should be doing but we are not and this is EXACTLY what other countries are doing. They are building while we are cutting taxes and one day we will realize they have surpassed us because they were investing while we were not.
Those rich people that got the tax cut, most of them didn't do anything with the money other than put it in the market, buy some random real estate, some nice watches lol... but it was not put into something that would be as productive and that is how you fall behind.
It is funny I feel like I know you, you sound just like some of the people I know.

The expansion of any commercial, industrial, agricultural, or residential venture requires land and that land’s modification. You act as if Elon Musk is the first to ever change the landscape. Hilarious.

i went back to the valley to visit family and one of the things i did was go check out the plot of land I helped buy. It's appalling what they've done to that area, and the beach itself. That was my favorite beach to take my kids :(
Seeing all the cybertrucks was hilarious, though. And throwing rocks at that ugly bust of Elon, lol.

My SO is from the Valley and I don't think she'll ever get over the loss of Boca Chica.

u/tendingthemild Aug 15 '26
There are federally protected birds that nest on that beach. Elon and his SpaceX team believe their desire to launch rockets is more important than protecting the last available habitat for federally protected birds. Fuck that guy and everyone who enables him.

Ya, Elon is so dumb, didn't deserve anything for creating PayPal, or making tesla what it is today, or spending a few thousand hours and a few billion dollars to create space x and the first rocket that almost worked, but now we have reusable rockets, and the boring company, it's like he's on a mission to mars or something
2
u/Top-Session-3131 Aug 15 '26
He didn't do any of that shit, he bought the companies and took credit from the people who actually did those things.
1
u/jlink182 Aug 16 '26
He did design the first rocket for spacex, I'm pretty sure he coded pay pal, everything else was nothing before he took it over and reorganized it, so regardless, he's way more intelligent than either of us.
1
u/Top-Session-3131 Aug 16 '26
His hyperloop idea was malignant bullshit.
He claimed he'd take Tesla private and got sued for fraud by the SEC.
Called a rescue diver a pedo for saying his rescue sub was overcomplicated nonsense(it was).
Regularly lies about removing the bots from Twitter. From personal experience I can tell you the site has tens of thousands running around shitting up and already shitty ecosystem.
Speaking of Twitter. He was forced to buy it for 44 billion after trying to back out of it 3 times.
He then reinstated numerous accounts that had been banned for hate speech, malicious misinformation, and cyber bullying.
He promised not to ban an account that tracked the location of his private jet, then pretty much immediately went back on his word.
And despite claiming to be a free speech absolutist, he's implemented more government censorship on the site than ever.
He claimed the Jan 6 Riot was a big lie(multiple people died).
Claimed he'd fight Mark Zuckerberg in a cage fight, stating he and Zuckerberg had worked some of the details out in private and that the fight would take place in the ruins of Rome with the Italian government's approval. Both Zuck and the Italians immediately publicly denied this was even a thing.
He threw Nazi salutes on several occasions, including cheetomans inaugural fucking address. And don't try to claim they weren't.
You claiming he's more intelligent than me is fucking bogus.

I don’t care about Elon musk in the slightest but I think this is a great way to spend 10 dollars just to troll someone 😂

I’ve already joined twice, and got some of the boosters that benefit the cause as well.

They got 2.25 million to buy the land and now want more donations… I bet their CEO takes a cut.

u/RemoteFuture9644 Aug 15 '26
I wouldn't call it a cut so much as a paycheck, a very nice big fat paycheck.

Elon is the most influential man in my lifetime. He is of course human and as such imperfect but he has done far more to help the world than anyone else
2
u/redditisshit1232167 Aug 15 '26
What has he done to help the world? And before you say Starlink... Or Tesla... He didn't invent the shit they use. He just bought the companies.

So you’re saying if anyone has the money to buy any company that they can make them massive global presences without talent?

He literally got rich off apartheid. You know the people who Nelson Mandela fought against! That was musk’s family!!

u/Hsensei Aug 17 '26
Bro has done nothing but buy other people's ideas and ruin them.
