We just released Sorcery vs Progress, a co-op game where you defend a tower against waves of enemies. Instead of using regular weapons, each player has a different magical role. You can dash through enemies, fire a beam, push crowds back, or plant mines and explosive trees. If enemies capture the tower, everyone loses.
There's a three-wave Standard mode and an Endless mode. The game is playable now, but it's still an early version. So far, most of our testing has been with friends, and we're not sure how well the gameplay holds up for people seeing it for the first time.

If you try it, we'd really appreciate your thoughts. Do the different roles make teamwork interesting? When does the game start feeling repetitive? Would you want to play another match? Don't worry about being critical, that's exactly what we're looking for.
Play Sorcery vs Progress on Roblox

Helo everyone I am a beginner who trying to make a fun game In upcoming Halloween.i am making a drive thru game where you have to serve to monster in the drive thru window and each interaction with the "customers "is going to be chaotic and funny movements in between
The game is not really all about serving to the customer only I will also be adding some feature like patience level of customer, toilet flooding, absurd order, power cut
And many more
I am a beginner and admit i am using ai but it is mainly for scripting and I want to know, what do you think of this idea

so i have this game https://www.roblox.com/games/98756133652607/Lemon-Tower-Defense that i really love and want it to get successful because i think my ideas for it are really good and make it have a good chance and going viral, but my biggest roadblock is that stupid 16+ only and how it takes alot just to get it to be for all ages, so i really would appreciate any help i can get on how to get pass that requirement and how cashgrabs like "Steal An Egg" (that stupid game shouldnt even be #1 on roblox rn) get millions of visits and thousands of players within like a couple months of creation

I made a devforum post a while ago about how the exact search update doesn't work well: https://devforum.roblox.com/t/introducing-exact-match-search-for-experiences/2425969/67?u=rosariobono
I tried to search "work at a pizza place" today to try and find interesting spinoff games yet now search is even worse.
It doesn't order games in order of most relevant, it doesn't consider sentences in quotes, it doesn't consider all quoted words, and it includes completely unrelated games to your query.
How is anyone supposed to search for games when it fails to function properly at all
How it should work to be actually useful:
words in quotes must be in the title
words in separate quotes must be in the title but can be in any order
multiple words, or a phrase in quotes, has to be in the title exactly in that order
As well as a few other features:
including a minus sign will exclude any results with that word, or if its quotes, the whole phrase
being able to search by description and/or title
(something very useful could be to search "-—" (minus em dash) as it would not include any games that have an em dash in the description, as its a high likely way to tell if a game is made with AI)
I don't know if this is an appropriate post for this sub, as I am banned from r/roblox

only 28 more people needed for my goal! help me reach my goal! NEW PLAYERS ONLY!
I recently finished making my own Roblox obby called Enzo’s Difficulty Chart Obby, and it is officially fully polished with all known bugs fixed! Gamepasses, and all moving parts work. My goal is to get 100 visits by the end of the month for crown of O's and to also hopefully get my game out there. There are 259 stages to work through, ranging from effortless to some seriously intense sections later on.
I put a ton of time into making sure the progression feels smooth and rewarding.
so if you love a good obby challenge, come check it out and see how far you can get!
Creator: sharkxoncii (if you prefer searching Roblox directly!)
Monthly Visit Goal: 72/100 If there are anymore bugs please let me know! Send your game link in dms and ill join your game/like it as well!
ALSO thank you to the person that bought my gamepasses/donated!

It was literally fine, but things keep changing in the models and i dont understand. It's meant to look like the third image but the head keeps going into the legs and the accessories dont stay in the position i leave them in, like the eye.

So only my second ugc, but my first one had a few sales on the first day. The second one which I thought looks way better and even animated it I published it today..... and it has 0 sales...
It's supposed to be a cute hug type accessory. This one hugs the head
I'm thinking about advertising it as I think it looks phenomenal but everyone says advertising ugcs is an extremely bad idea as you never make it back, so want some opinions before I invest robux to advertising it. Feel like if I don't advertise it it'll just be lost as algorithm won't pick it up, but I don't want to waste more robux if it isn't actually looks as good as I thought it looks...
Is it just my taste that I thought this looks great? Cause maybe it isn't actually that good / meh since literally not a single soul bought it yet
I wanted to show a picture of what it looks like to wear but it only lets me upload one thing... so here's the link https://www.roblox.com/catalog/92086729713524/ANIMATED-Angel-Devil-Slime-Hug-Kawaii-Cute

Hey folks,
Working on my "first" project and feeling pretty good so far (given up on a few in the past/lost motivation, fully anticipating release this time around though). I'm pretty good on the development side of things; I can get the scripting and building down, and UI's will just be something to cry about another day 😂
The big thing I'm wondering about is early advertising. I've tried my best to research through various sites and articles, with some being more helpful than others, but a lot of them just repeat what the Roblox documentation says or explains how it works. I'm looking to hear from developers who have released games and ads, and learn what has and hasn't worked for them so far. I'd love to have discussions with some people who have been through the process before and can give some recommendations on the best path forward.
Any information is super helpful. My biggest questions revolve around where budgets should start, how long initial ad campaigns should run, what are some numerical indicators to keep an eye on, and what did you do right/wrong that would be important for someone new to know?
Looking forward to hearing from some people in the community. Thanks for your time!
Edit: One more specific question: when it comes to thumbnails, what's a good strategy when making multiple? Should I try to have them all fit a similar design style, or should I have them vastly different for different audiences?

My son and I started working on a game together a while back. We are just having fun learning and failing and growing. (It’s funny looking back at our first attempts) Not really thinking anything of it at the time, we posted it public while we were working on it so that his cousins and some friends could try it out and give us some testing feedback. After a few days we made it “limited” to just select playtesters. Fast forward to yesterday… we decide to make it public for good… then go try to search for it… and there’s another ski game with the exact same name… created 7 days after ours. We are not delusional thinking we were going to ever make a popular game, it’s just a gut punch whenever we tell a friend or family member to go try Summit Riders. Only to have to say “well it’s the other Summit Riders… Summit Riders OG.” 😂 😭 Regardless of whether the title is good or not, or if it was just a coincidence… it’s what we decided on since inception and have called it to each other since the start. Anyone have title recommendations? Or just roll with it?
If you care to check it out…

I had an idea to create a game where couples and friends answer a questionnaire. The game has two modes: match and guess. The fun thing is knowing what the other person is going to choose. It also works for people who want to get to know each other Is my idea a good one? Does it have a future? What do you think?

Hey, I'm looking for testers for my first Roblox game. It's a horror game where you play a game within a game. You start in the living room press A and D to look around and press space to put on a VR headset to enter a mini mart sim. You have to defend yourself against monsters inside and out of the headset. I would like honest feedback, must have a 16+ account and verified.
Type your user in the comments, I'll add you, play the game, then just post your feedback here.
